A Chevy rear in the front? Can be done but get out the plastic! My advice it to find a Cherokee in the junkyard with the Dana 44 front. The and explorer 8.8 rear. That gives u discs all the way around and tough enough axles for some semi hardcore wheelin. Best of all you can still use jeep wheels. When u do Chevy axles its hard to find a nice rim in a 15 inch rim 6 lug. Then you have to use 16.5's and tire selection is limited and expensive. You can make a jeep perform well without spending a mint you just need to know what the smart best bang for the buck mods are.
