Thumbs up h.i.d. backfeeding

I just installed h.i.d.s in my xj and when i turn the key off the headlights turn on by themselves and shut off after about a minute, after they shut off the hids flicker off and i can hear a rapid clicking in the dash that slows down a a click every second. So this leads me to believe that the ballasts are backfeeding into the headlight circuit. Does anyone know how to build a heavy duty headlight relay harness?

Thanks for any help in advance. Matt2000xj

you need to disconnect the headlight delay module. It is under the dash. do a search for it.

Mine does the same, the way i got around it is to use the bright's to shut them off. The kit i got didnt have brights so i click them off to turn my lights on then turn the brights "on" to shut them off then push the plunger in and i can shut my jeep off without any issue
