I have found myself at a fork in the road, do I keep building my Dana 30 hp w/4.56 Currie hd steering , and rock ring; or do I find a bigger axle. I do not plan to run over 33's maybe 35's

Id say just finish building the D30 if youre just gonna run 33's.. Save some time and money and have a nice axle

Depends on what your budget permits. The hp dana 30 should hold up to 35's but if you have the money id throw a nice dana 44 up there to beef things up a bit.

What would the advantages be over the d30 going to the d44 when running 33's or 35's

peice of mind knowing that you have a stronger axle. also this isnt in the correct section. this is to post your jeep build not ask questions
