Not to mention that i think that the jeep is a more protective vehicle for his child to ride in. Especially after all the stiffening and frame work.

Thanks, and to explain what happened...I've just been SUPER busy with other things...like Mountain Biking (I've lost 10 pounds)

and working in the garden (Lettuce and Broccoli):

and spending some time with my favorite girls:

And working overtime building stuff at work:

Taking pics of Dragon Flys:

AND I'm a bit low on funds.

I promise you all I will be back at the jeep again soon... I have this weekend off, and I have ALLL day Saturday scheduled for jeep work!

Look for updates Saturday and Sunday!

Later,

Chris

I know this is off topic , but how do you like your full suspension bike? I couldn't get used to mine so I went back to front only. Trails localy are mostly tight woods and sand/ pea gravel hills. Just wondering. Ride on spoke junkie.LOL

I LOVE my suspension bike(s).

I have a Giant Reign, and the Santa Cruz Bullit I posted above.

What kind of bike were you riding?

I ask b/c the DESIGN of the suspension is a HUGE part of how it rides... and if you were riding some POS walmart bike, you WILL hate it.

While I appreciate the technology Christini AWD has put into their design, I just don't see the point.

I'm GUESSING that the drive system adds at LEAST 5-10 pounds to the bike, and adds significant drag to the drive line too.

I honestly can't think of a single instance in my 15 years of Mtn.biking where I thought "Gee, I really wish my front wheel was driven so I could make this obstacle"...

Then again, I know of some people who think that rapid fire shifters are retarded and only like thumb shifters.

One of the reasons I ride suspension:

(Just realized my brother almost got run over in that video... LOL!)

That is right, infact, the cool application is on motorcycles. There is another defect of the christini system: if you look closely at the gear system they used in the front pipe, you will notice that when you turn the handlebars to either one or the other direction you either add or subtract rotation to the front wheel.
When i was 16, i made a drawing of a different transmission that uses a concentrical cardan joint to avoid this problem, wanna see it?

Sweet Jeep and awesome thread. However, if this bicycle stuff goes any further the mods will have to repost this thread in the off topic section.
