RAWR! - Installed
I am spoiling the complete install with these.. I never got the shackles on the back last night, and it shows. But, I ran into trouble with the top shackle bolts, then bailed on it, put them back in.. and ordered a Pro-Comp add a leaf instead.. anyway..
Rims/Tires/Lift - 80% Complete
Chopped out some plastic in the front, swings left and right no problem, checked on bumps and dips as well.. at worst it gets 1" close to the wheel well at its closest point (full swing).. So, no doing any jumps or rock crawling, but that was never the plan anyway ..climbing over levys, romping through dirt roads, and post hurricane floods.. Yes.
The back just barely scrubs the rear bumper corner covers on hard bumps (remember no lift back there). I am waiting for the rear lift before decided where/if to cut anything.

..another nice side effect of the lift is that those Yakima super wide rack tubes used to get me right in the forehead, no I can walk clean underneath them

Just took a swazall to the rear wheel wells.. Went down a rough road, and it immediately popped of the corner bumper cover.. then hit a hard bump and the tire rubbed about a 1/4" mark up onto the rear wheel well metal. Just took an inch off the rear of the rear wheel well. This plus the 2" rear lift should suffice in all "bumps" circumstances.. I went out and romped it right after the cutting, and it didn't hit anywhere (corner bumper covers still off). Once the rear lift is on, I will trim the rear bumper corners to fit again. I also might look into stiffening the rear suspension some more if the add a leaf isnt stiff enough (plus I think it still has OEM shocks on it.. like, the originals!)

Thanks guys
This morning I did the Accel coil, and new injectors..
Sneak peak at what's happening next:
The rear lift should be here any day.. then I will finish that.
I also added new shocks to the shopping list.

Lift Completed
That little Pro Comp leaf added exactly 2 1/2" ...to my surprise. I installed it, and when I let it sit on its own weight for the first time, tires off, on the stands.. I could see the curve in the middle, then the oem leafs sagging back down on each end.. I was getting ready to go ahead and install the shackles, but then decided to check it out with the wheels on before I did. Then.. AWESOME.. 2 1/2" when I was expecting 1.
Test drove the hell out of it, and never a single rub. Its sitting level, and perfect as is. Also, before, I could rock the hell out of the body, side to side, now it only moves half as much, and I didn't notice any difference in ride quality. SUCCESS!
I also installed a missing wheel stud, and put all the center caps on.
Of course after I was all done, I remembered I had new black lug nuts to install. So, I went back around and put those on.
Anyway, love the new stance.. totally happy with it.
