First Jeep! 2000 XJ
 

Hey Yall i have never owned a jeep in my life! i actually always made fun of them but the other day i was asked if i was looking for a vehicle and i was like yes i always am! so i drive 80 miles to his house to see this 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L in the driveway!

(THE GOOD) when i went up i noticed the 4.5" rough country lift and cut fenders! when i looked closer i noticed there was NO rust on the whole jeep it was perfect! the inside was flawless and no rips or tears! when i opened the hatch i noticed a full 600W kicker sound system that worked great!! and a spare set of rims!

(THE BAD) when we went to start the jeep it would not start at all! we wiggled the termials and it started had turnsigles on pasenger blown and passenger brake light was blown too(bad ground)! i got into drive it and noticed the stearing wheel was upside down! NO cat or muffler just a cherry bomber and the last thing i can think of is i could turn NASCAR circles left but barly right!

Now the good thing after purchasing this i started to work on it and first thing i did was cut out the cherry bomb and put in a walker cat and magnaflow muffler! sounds great now and got O2 sensor in! next i replaced terminals and now it starts everytime! i went to replace the light bulbs and the inside plugs were rotted out so i went to a junk yard and got new ends and they worked decent! (NEED A WHOLE HEADLIGHT WIRING HARNESS!) passenger turn signal works when is wants and hen i hit the brakes it goes really fast!! it had some broken trim on the back too and i got that fixed!

so now i am almost ready but i have to get new 3" lifted leaf springs and my uncle is gunna lengthen my control arms to sit right (he has done this to his and its perfect) and i have to do the headlight wiring harness! any hints let me know!! all the advice will be great!!

BY THE WAY I BOUGHT THIS FOR $1800 (he was asking higher but) AND NOW I LOVE JEEPS! THANKS FOR CHANGING THE WAY I SEE JEEPS! cant wait to get this thing right! please help and give advice!!
