Good luck with the parent thing. Mine wanted nothing to do with my jeep or what I was doing with it. Ever think of runnng 33's or just want the 32's?

well at the pull-a-part the transfer case, front axle, front and rear drive shafts, and transmission were like 250 if i am remembering and that is with the 30 day warranty on everything. and the ball joints brakes and other odds and ends were like 300. and not to mention the things we found when we got it on the lift. haha. it wasnt to hard just a lot of heavy parts xP i dropped the tranny on my finger when i slipped on the oil, that was painnn. just be careful, while working and get all the bolts and everything off the donor as well spare nuts and bolts are never a bad thing

yeah about 600, thats all out of the jy. i didnt have a camera but it was striaght plug and play for me. make sure you get a working transmission and t-case and the gearing for the front and rear have to be the same so if your not sure get the rear axle out of the donor as well. all of mine came out of a 87 xj pioneer and went right into my 96. no problems other then we didnt put enough Tranny fluid in and it was grinding . thought i was gonna have to get it rebuilt!

well since i haven't posted on here in awhile i figure i would update!
my plans as of now areeee
a 6.5" lift, cuz bigger is better!!
33's on 15 inch rims
bumpers
winch
snorkel
and a roof rack
oh and re-gearing.
the lift and tires will be happening by christmas ( i hope)
finding a job is still top priority, but my mom and dad are helping me save.

I have a stick, 2 wheel dig XJ. put a 3" superlift on it. bought a parts jeep for the rears, t-case, tranny, etc. I got everything in but the tranny and t-case. The parts jeep had an aw4 tranny. it's all i got so i'm gonna make it work. I can't find anything on swappin a 5 speed over to an aw4. I found some stuff on guys putting them in wranglers but thats it. nothin on xjs. any suggestions would be appreciated.
