when my dad bought it for me it was 2 wheel drive, so we went to pull a part and got a front axle, tranny, and a t-case. we installed that so now it is 4x4. i bought some hella 500's and installed those.
so far those are the only mods.

things to come:
3" lift
32's??? on cragar soft 8's and .5" to 1.5" wheel spacers
front and rear bumpers
roof rack
rear locker (maybe)

Like my dad always said "don't make it a toy tell its not your daily driver", but that didn't
mean much to me! That's a big project changing it over to 4x4! From ur stock flex pic I would say your next step should be a lift kit!!!

that is definately my next step. i am hoping to have that done by september.

Check out that thread on "lift kit prices" how big r u gonna go? I went with a teraflex 2" uck & shackels, & 3.5" rubicon extrem!

im probably going 4.5" there are a few cherokee's that have 4.5" lifts around here that caught my attention as well as my dads so he is getting me the lift as part of an early xmas.

since i am in the process of looking for lift parts or a lift kit, i have 4" inch lift coils off of a wrangler, would these give about 4-5 inches of lift to my xj? and im looking for rear leaf packs since i have heard so much crap about aal's, which would be better rough country leaf packs or rustys leaf packs?

Well for starters you might want to make an introduction thread if you haven't done so already. Cherokee's are unibody therefore no body lifts are able to be installed. As for a 4.5" lift and 34's, you'll just need to trim the fenders and maybe bumpstop, hope that helped.

well i have finally decided on a lift, im getting the 3.5 inch RE lift with full leafs, 32 inch bfg mud terrains on soft 8's and if needed coil spacers and shackles to reduce tire rub if it is too bad. just gotta find a job and go half and half with the parents! lol

so no lift's? just trim my fenders and ill be good to go ?
and yea i dose help thank's
