Hey guys, I'm new to these forums, and am new to the Jeep community.

I purchased my '92 Cherokee Briarwood about three weeks ago with the intentions of building a nice mudding/flexing Cherokee.

Every day I get home from work, I want to do something to it, but am never sure what to do. Most of the time I don't have much money to throw down on the spot, but am always wondering, what are some free/cheap things to do to it after work, day by day. I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about.

I'll post interior pictures of it tomorrow, but for now, does anybody have any ideas? I hate not working on it for a day.

Since I've gotten it, I've replaced the front calipers, air filter, radiator, thermostat, muffler, and radio with a JVC head unit and subs. I've also removed the stock fenders, and cut them back some.

I ordered a 2" budget boost last night, so, for now, I won't rub as much when I mud.

want a 99 cent fix to make it look 99% better?

go buy some black paint, remove the wheels and spray anywhere that you can see thru the wheel, black. Looks a ton better than rust, until you can get some center caps

Good looking jeep, I actually like the wood!

What kind of paint? Like, spray paint, wall paint? And should I sand it before i spray?

you can wire wheel the rust if you'd like or wire brush it, a good spray paint works for the time being until you break down and paint the entire dif etc

Id suggest bedlining it below the wood, other than that it looks fine, maybe a roof rack and bumpers?

Would it be a bad idea to bedline the entire underbody of the Jeep?

Not really, i've hear of people spraying chassis saver and then rolling on bedliner for easy clean off from wheeling, but i see it being a pain to do unless you have a car lift

Would this work for the inside of the fenders?

chassis saver is the best rust stopper you can do to the under body, monstaliner makes it really easy to clean after that. I reccomend both highly and use them exclusivly.

So, today, on my way home, should I pick up that spray to spray the inside of the wheel wells after sanding them?
