what are the peices holding the 2 frames apart? also how are the single pipes that run front to back connected to the frame?

the pieces holding the two frames apart are just flat pieces of steel with holes drilled in them so you can change the overall height of the basket if wanted i just have it all the way and the individual pieces are connected with these heavy duty u-bolts. i drilled through the stock two roof rack bars and ran the u bolts through

I live up here and there's a few random trails around the area but some were hit pretty hard by Irene and were really washed out.

Looks great.

Question on the side door guards....

1) How did you get them off?
2) How were they mounted?

I thought there were holes in the door for clips for the guards.?

Thanks

Peace

theres no holes on the doors and mine actually just peeled off. i just gave it a little heat with a blowdryer at one and and peeled them back. theres some sticky residue left over but just take some goof off or use the blowdryer and rubber scraper and it will come right off
