The rear suspension is a modified RK coil conversion...and the front is 100% custom one off that i built for this XJ...I CAD every day using Solidworks...so i used it to my advantage when building the exact hybrid cross member i needed to work with the suspension pickup points, for my ride height, as well as clear the Atlas with out any issues...All the front arms are built from 2" - .250" wall DOM...the rears are all solid stock 1018...

That thing is a beast, did you build your own lift or did you get a kit?

The Ruffstuff stiffeners are great; I didn't have any issues with them. Like anything with an xj, you have to have patience when installing them and try not to half ***** them when your working with them...takes a little persuasion to get them on right...awesome product for sure

Finished assembling the steering linkage, sway-bar, shocks and track bar...
Attachment 374021 Since going to the disk brake conversion, i had to figure out something for the parking brake...I used Parts Mike parking brake disk on the back of my Atlas... Attachment 374022 Attachment 374023 Finished reassembling the interior with a pair of Corbeau Baja XRS seats...decided to power wash the carpets and put it back in too...really wanted to keep the noise down as much as possible... Attachment 374024 Attachment 374025 I had the XJ on the rack over at S&S Custom Off-Road for the exhaust system. New pipes from the manifold back... Attachment 374026 They decided they wanted to bring it back to my shop in proper form...S&S wanted to "move" there tow rig around a little bit... Attachment 374027 Attachment 374028 |

Just to lay the record straight...I didn't come up with the name, a friend of mine did as a joke while i was finishing it up and it kind of stuck with it for some reason....SO! as a small tribute to FIAT (who owns Ferrari...and of course Chrysler/Jeep since '09) we dubbed this XJ "Ferrar Jeep"....that...and the paint that Beal's auto body used really was Ferrari red (they had a wrecked F550 in the shop, that was getting some work done, and had extra left over...go figure)...all i need now is to find one of those V12's laying around....

This is probably one of the sickest jeep I have EVER seen. I just looked at the pictures ha sorry but roughly about how much have you put in to it? Just out of curiosity. And if you don't want to say, then I understand. But seriously, that's awesome.

Dang man amazing looking jeep. I know this took a ton of hard work. Great job!
Did you design or have input on the new ORF products on your jeep? They look sweet! |
