So are we talking MSRP or vendor pricing ;p lol. Wish I could have made it out to the SEMA show I heard the ARB booth had some sweet stuff including their new lights. What's been the coolest product you have seen so far while there?

Beautiful job sir. I am speechless, honestly. This is pretty much, hands down, The Cherokee of All Cherokees...anyone disagree? I think not

Do you know the actual brand of bedliner used on your XJ ? I read that Duplicolor has the kevlar as well. The company you used would be a little far for me to travel to do the bedliner

Man I love ur xj I am 14 and me and my dad r building me a 96 xj sport I cannot tell u how much I love this Cherokee it is awork of art way to build the best xj.

Would you tell me if the Corbeau seats you have flip forward. Trying to find a set of seats for my two door but they have to flip forward (damn near impossible to find a set)

F1Addict Dec 11, 2012 04:37 AM

I'm guessing he has way more than $4K into those axles, plus beadlocks (and powder coating), Kevlar MTRs, Ferrari red paint, mil-spec bedliner, under coat, crate engine, mani-back exhaust, 2-speed Atlas, rear quarter armor, front fender armor, sliders, transfer case parking brake, roof rack, LEDs everywhere, front and rear bumper, hydro assist, front and rear lockers, racing seats, hood vents, 3-core rad, winch and (of course)... all those stickers. I'm guessing around $37K plus a couple grand for the XJ to start with so $39K-ish, all-in, not counting the labor and fab work he did because that's why we work on our own rigs is so we don't have to write a check to someone to do it for us.

Now that I'm done rehashing everything I've just spent the last hour reading let me congratulate you on an awesome build. It turned out spectacular and I have much respect for someone who will invest so much in a rig for the pure enjoyment of it. We all know that you'll never recoup the money or sweat you've put into it but from the sounds of it, you don't care. I like that. Enjoy.

I'm banking on $32,267.58 Just another $75G's you could get yourself a nice F50 to haul the jeep to the trails. :red_indian:

When is any mod we do to our Jeeps "cost effective"? Lol

Well lets get started with the details then...I bought the XJ just before Thanks Giving, Nov of 2011, I got started on the tear down the following week...placed the XJ on some stands and dug right into her...striped down and gutted the entire XJ exterior, interior, motor, transmission, etc...I kept the axles in for the time being so i could get her on and off the trailer and mover her around the shop until all the body work was done...

I just realized that we bought out XJs at pretty much the exact same time... Lol. :D
