Congrats, that's great. My wife is due in June with our first.
Just Pick up a set of TJ rears for $300. Dana 30 front and 44 rear, disc brakes, chromoly axles, 3.73 gears. I have 3.08 now so this will be a big improvement! Going to bolt in the front but i have to clean off all the brackets on the rear and weld on spring mounts and shock mounts.
Put in a new driveway, 76 tons of millings and 6x6s. I will pave over top later. Got new 38s on the wife's truck. Now my son told me to fix the Jeep! So its time to start working on it again. Going to cut fenders, chop rear quarters, and weld in 2x3 rockers in. And put the in chromoly axles in the Dana 30. I sold the back rear after i found out i have 3.55 gears. No point in putting 3.75s not that much of a difference.
started cutting back corners and fenders rain came had to stop! Corners where full of mud!
got to flex up the jeep after folding and rolling the fender and rear corners.
Got and install a new Delt 60 Flowmaster today. Its not loud but has a great sound.
Great day on the beach, perfect weather! Wish we could have caught some keeper fish!

I love that fishing rack you have up front. I need one like that for my XJ as I like to head out deep into the country side to find my fishing spots as well.

Sweet build!
I know how it feels to sell your other toys to keep the jeep moving forward in its build!
But it's all worth it
