Face Lift
 

I've been giving the old Jeep a facelift over the past few months. It's taken me awhile since I am a full-time college student working a part-time job at 17 years old. And the fact that You can never find a stopping point when you start. I originally bought it for $1000 with 160,000 miles on it. We started with the floor pans and door skins. Now it's a Kicker amp that I got for $60 and BF Goodrich All-Terain t/a's for $40 total for all 4! Here are some before pics.

It started raining when we were sanding and painting the hood so we built a tent and pressed on:

It's not that bad once you get the pieces bent. I will post pics later today or tmr of the outside (It's still taped). I recommend that if you have to replace door skins or rockers to order them from Morris 4x4 center. They shipped to my house in 2 days. for floor pans I just measured them up and had a local welding company cut me out some steel and me and my dad bent them with a mallet and a vice. I don't really have any plans for it maybe a lift down the road or a light bar. Nothing to expensive since I'm in college.

Got a lot done this weekend. I dismounted my rims and sanded off the peeling clear coat. roughed up the rims and sprayed some new clear coat on. This was my dad's idea and at first I was leery of it, but as always he was right... I also put the grill and fender flares on, which makes my hood look way cooler. I was planning on having the Jeep done by Wednesday, but these storms rolling in with 50 mph winds aren't going to be to kind. My luck is that the tent (makeshift garage for the poor) would blow over unto my new paint job haha. I will post pics sometime soon...
