Got the cast done with and can put a little weight on the foot, still on crutches for two more weeks though, the screw comes out and the crutches go away March 20th!!
Could not resist not working on the Jeep anymore so grabbed my 6 year old and made him help me out in the garage this week.
Got this rack off of Craigslist for $30 a few months back, started sanding and prepping for paint, decided to put on the Rustoleum black hammered finish I used on the fenders.
ready for paint -
done painting, ready for install!
I did end up getting it installed, but have not taken the pics yet, looks great and I have about two inches to clear the garage door still, WIN!
Next thing in the garage is the front Spartan locker, looking forward to getting it installed, it will be wheeling season where I am in about two months!
Until then..

I'm from the Springs and saw your craigslist add, I have been wanting to put the new Rubicons on my 97 and have been looking for someone that has done it. It looks REALLY good! Did you have to cut out the fender wells because they rubbed or just for looks? I wanted the black ones but all that I can find are the mineral gray ones. I think that either color will look good on my white sport. People are wanting from about 1100 to about 1400 for them. How do you like that RZR?

The reason the RZR is in the garage and the Jeep is on the CL add is because it came down to only needng ot keep one and the RZR won. It is a different type of off-roading, my family loves it. I am a Jeep guy and love Jeep off-roading, but 3 of the 4 people in the Jeep voted RZR riding, so the wife and kids won and the Jeep has to go. The Rubicon rims are so sweet, I talked my guy down from like 1400 to I think 1100 if I remember correctly, I love the look. I cut the fenders because I was planning that before the rims/tire package. The Jeep has not been off-roaded since I built it, so I don't know if they rub at all, but I am sure only the rear would. Thanks for the look!
The Jeep is going to be let go for $6850 if your interested.
