Default DD & Future Trail Rider

I've been scoping the forum for about a month now and since I finally got a job, I figured i might as well start one.

17 year old, second car, took it for a ride and fell in love with the thing.
In an automotive class so most the work will be done there, other than that If someone lives in the southern Maine or northern New Hampshire area, over the summer some help would be sweet.

-2001 Cherokee 4.0L 4X4
-All Stock for now
-235/75/R15
When I bought P.O. said that he had taken good care of it. Hes full of it, fluids havent been changed in a good while. First thing to happen is a tune up!

Future Mods!

Not looking for anything overly big

-3" Rough Country Lift Series II w/ full leafs
-30-31" Tires not sure what kind yet. Suggestions would be nice.
-Rattle Can Paint Job (Flat Black). Im a Steelers fan so probably gonna have STEELERS Painted down the side do the trim and rims in yellow haha.
-Interior cage
-Flowmaster Super 44 possibly off the vendor showcase
-New Diff Covers.

All for now cant really think of anything on the spot.

This is gonna be a slow build but hopefully will be finished when I go off to college next year!

31/10.50-15 bfg T/A KO, General Grabber AT2 or cooper discoverer STT are all pretty nice and fairly inexpensive

loving the plans for your paint!!! gotta say im a STEELERS fan as well!!
you can get some huge decals made for your lettering too so its not all paint!

as for the lift i have a 3 inch and im running 33s i had to trim alot but i would totally go 31s or 32s if you wanna keep a clean look with minor trimming

Nice to see some Steelers fans!

Yea i'm not sure if i want to do trimming just yet, later on might come tube fenders but probably wont happen unless i absolutely have to.

Ive also been reading that if you call Rough Country they tend to give out deals to those on CF. That True?

ya i wasnt planning on doing trimming i wanted to go with 32s and just take off the fender flares but i came across a deal on a brand new set of 33s on black steels mounted and balanced for 395 bucks so i got them and made the jeep fit to the tires

ya i have heard on here that they do give out discounts to cf members if you call but i havent needed anything so i dont know for sure if they do

Ive really been looking around but anyone know of a good oil and filter to use on the jeep? I used to just use Pennzoil and a fram filter on my 98 grand am but dont know if i should go the same way especially since the previous owner hasnt changed the fluids like he said he did. Tried to change the coolant but for some reason my petcock is sticking and had to pull the lower radiator hose and wasnt able to flush the system except for the radiator so i might have to take it to my mechanic to see what he can do.
