Ok 4.5 lift and 35s. Hmm lets try this.
What are you going to do for a steering setup? SYE? Already discussed swapping diffs or upgrading gearing. How about bump stops, what are you going to use? How are you going to cut the fenders? Any considerations about drive shafts. frame stiffeners? Brake Lines?

^^33s
But 4.5" and 35s isnt very hard...
ZJ tie rod is a good temp solution, no SYE needed (for all 6 of my XJs), brake lines are the usual c1500 lines up front and dakota rear line..
Cut fenders just like any one else, angle grinder and some beer, stiffeners will come sooner than later.

I picked up some used 15x8 D windows...and got offered a trade for 5 nice looking factory 15x8 Ravine wheels...considering trading..
I know my 33s will fit..but the ravines have about an inch more (numerically more) backspacing than my d windows...
What do you guys think I should do?

Pulled the RE1600 TB today, and replaced with an RE 1660 and 1665 bracket (double sheer).
Thing is completely ****ing beef. Way larger than the 1600 RE track bar, and its chromoly.

Yeah definately staying flareless unless I was to get something like Hooligan full fender replacements. The trails around here are all so tight that plastic flares would last maybe one trip before getting torn off.

Managed to neglect this for over a month!
No real updates...installed a B. Lee's Offroad stubby bumper with unibody tie ins for front recovery, as well as added a 3/4" Hitch Receiver D ring...
Big wheeling trip this saturday with GA Jeepers...so hopefully someone will get some action shots of it.

I'm looking forward to seeing what one of those stubby bumpers looks like installed. It seems like a nice setup. Glad you kept the D window rims!
