Daily Daisy Build

I've only owned it for almost a year now but I guess I'll post it all out right now, and what I've done so far. I bought a 1994 XJ Sport, HO 5 speed 4x4 for about 700 bucks from a family friend when I was fifteen. From then, I just tried to get it home and do some brake work to get it home, because there WAS NO BRAKES WHATSOEVER. Lol. Anyway, here are some pics all up to this point.

When I first picked it up last may. 369k on the clock!

First thing in order was brakes. Picked up a new master cylinder and booster from NAPA and went from there. Then moved on to a whole new front brake kit and rear drum kit.

After brakes, I noticed some white particles in my clutch reservoir, which led me to believe my master and slave were going out. Took them apart and inspected them... the insides were scored super bad. So ordered new ones of those, and the clutch is super springy now. No more slip!!

Of course once the brake and clutch were done I putted my jeep around the neighborhood (cause I didn't have my license at the time :sweatdrop:) and taught myself how to drive stick. After that, I just did the usual maintenance and have been driving it to high school ever since.

That's cool, you got a good looking Jeep. Post more pics we'd like to see it.

One day I was in 4lo on the pavement (not sure why) and turned a little too hard, and snapped my track bar mount. :brickwall: learned my lesson lol. Instead of getting a new mount I just picked up a RC 0-3" adjustable track bar.

After getting a job I came to the realization that I could actually put some real money towards the jeep. So in December I bought some new rims and tires for about 500. ProComp AT sport, 265/75/R16. Pretty stuffed in there haha

I ended up trying to back up, and ripped the plastic fenders off with the tires. So I just took them off and with the help of a friend trimmed the fenders to the point where they didn't completely obliterate my tires.

One of my headlights ended up going out, so I figured I would pick up some LEDs off Amazon. Mine were about 25 bucks

Then a lift came along!! 2.5" blocks and shackles really did the trick haha. I'll definitely go bigger soon.

Then the fenders were cleaned up and had a tiny lip. Had to get a couple flex pics of course lol.

Up next with likely be new shocks, glasspack, and steering components. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions or tips, and I'll keep you posted on the build

Nice start! Good for you for driving a stick.

I'd look to regear sooner than later since you're basically running 32s. A set of auto axles with 3.55s would probably be the cheapest. I ran those gears with 31s and a 5sp and it was really nice on the road and off.

txf54 04-06-2019 04:20 PM

I'm pretty sure I have 3.55, but they could also be 3.73. I'll have to check once I do the different fluid, which is soon lol. And thanks! I prefer stick anyday, keeps you busy lol.
