Ok so here is the story.
My roommate squeaks aka Ryan has wanted a jeep since I have always had one. He has been trying to trade his car for one for over 2 months.
On dec 26 he got an email from a lady at the coast saying if he wanted her jeep she was down to trade.
After a 2.5 hour drive in snow, hail, and pouring down rain we picked up this lil beauty!
Its a 86 v6 with 40k on it! It was dam clean too!
After another 2.5 hour drive we made it home.
Not even 10 min of being home i was ripping the fender flairs off! lol
as of tonight i trimmed the front fenders and removed tons of unneeded crap!
plans for this jeep is to make it the little brother of mine with the same paint job but with a 4.5 lift and 33's
pics will come as progress happens.
i dig the name sandy since it was a beach rig (with no rust) but let me know what you guys think!

i like the first coating of mud. yeah the front is lifted now but the steering is off center again. easy fix though. i do have to say thats a good shot of the owner in the background. the rear will be done tomorrow. hopefully. also found out the valve cover bolts were loose today possibly causing the outrageous smoke screen every time i accelerated. hopefully tightening them helps.
