Ckerokee auto to manual swap

So I have a 1997 cherokee sport, it has a 4.0l straight 6 with 4wd. The only thing left that I need to change is the automatic! I've been reading some forums as well as talking to a few mechanic buddy's about doing an auto to manual trany swap. I have a general idea that I need an ax15 trany, but as far as wiring and the hole 4wd set up goes I'm getting a little confused. Any tips or suggestions from anyone that either has or is doing this?

Pictures help!

You need a 4wd AX15, clutch master/slave assembly, that section of the fire will out of a 5 speed XJ, the entire clutch pedal assembly, as well as the clutch and fly wheel.

Fit it all into the Jeep and go wheeling.

What is that you don't like about the auto?

I'm pretty sure you have to do something with the PCM as well, either get one for a manual, or do some wiring to trick the auto's PCM.

If you google "aw4 to ax15" there's a lot of threads on the topic.

I learnd to drive on a 5 speed so once I got the automatic I kind of started to die on the inside haha. And I need a senior project for school. So I figured I'd knock out two birds with one stone.
