Cherokee build Hollywood style!

Just going to start the process of building out my 2000 XJ Sport - though I live in Hollywood, and 22" rims and headrest DVD players might be the norm, I am going a different route! The plan is for a mellow build, DD with lighter wheeling, snow boarding, etc.

What I have so far:
Zone Off-road 3" lift full leaf pack, sway bar disconnects, 1" transfercase drop, Nitro shocks
JKS upper and lower control arms
extended brake lines
Rough Country adjustable tie rod
Krager soft 8's - chrome ( I need a little bit of bling!)

Need to get
Goodyear Duratrac 31"s
JCR Delux front and rear bumpers

Coming eventually
Ford 8.8 - 4:11 with ELocker
Detours XJ1 -unibody rock sliders -

That's some bling for sure! I wish mine was dark blue.

Decided to clean up the body trim and bumper, - the PO had painted them before and they were faded and peeling and just looked like crap, so ended up sanding them with 200grit, and spraying them with Duplicolor bumper and trim paint. The Duplicolor bumper paint goes on somewhat thin, so I ended up doing 5 or 6 light coats. Came out looking a lot better than I thought it would!

Zone 3.5" lift install started today after work. Took awhile to get the rusty rear leaf spring bolts off, but eventually with enough heat and elbow grease they came off! On to the front suspension tomorrow!

Installing the front lift was straight forward - JKS lower control arms and Zone coil springs. Everything would have been buttoned up on Sat, until I ran into trouble when putting back on the wheels. 2 of the old wheel studs pushed through - which forced me to pull the hub -with super rusted old bolts and the hub rusted to the knuckle made for a long night!
