The "cheap jeep" project
Be been a creeper on here for a while now a few posts here and there but it's time I share my build with the rest of the xj nation
About 2 years ago I made a quick purchase my first jeep and boy am I glad it's an xj she's 96 country she wasn't in bad shape but like all things could always use a little attention
I started with the basics changing the fluids and making sure she ran like a top then all hell broke loose and the addiction of working on the jeep and spending money began

After some tlc involving a new distributor cap and rotor crank sensor downstream O2 sensor a fresh cat and a spiffy new thrush muffler to pass inspection it was time to make my rig unique in my own little way it started with a few rattle cans of black paint some tinting of the taillights and markers and also the windows

Then I solved my sagging lead spring issue with some teraflex 1.5 inch lift shackles along with a few other small miss like adding a cb and other small things like that and also got rid of those hideous honey comb wheels and 225s and found a steal on some 235s on some stock steel wheels which also received some black paint
