Building Penelope
ok so i have been on here for a long time and never had a chance to start a build thread so here we go. it will also be slow since im a broke a$$ college student but i do get things thrown at me to add to the XJ.
This is wht it looked like when i bought it. 4.5in lift on 32's on its sitting on 6.5in lift on 32's hopefully going to be 35's soon.
Its first winter with me was the great Chicago Blizzard and it didnt have any problems with the snow.
I went with a no doors mod in the spring which is great.

so after a long needed repair. i got time to replace my harmonic balancer which there was only half the rubber left and was about to be gone. managed to get the new one on easy then the installer broke when i was on the last turn and was able to get the broken bolt out of the crankshaft. runs so much smoother now.

it was actually pretty easy to do. i went to the farm n fleet but u could go anywhere to get it the power inverter that plugs into the cigarrete lighter. i got the one that is 120 watts. for the lights i went with 2 strands of LED lights both draw 5 watts each. then i went with a candy cane that lights up and cut a hole in it for the antenna to slide threw. i ran to extension cords one to the roof threw the back down and one to under the hood from the front passenger door. for the wreath i just zip tied it to the grill
