Building For My Wife

I've been building a 13 Taco for the past couple of years. Can be seen here if there's any interest https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/...thread.439791/

We took it down to Rausch Creek off road park for the first time this past summer. Made the mistake of letting my Wife drive some trails... She didn't want to get out of the drivers seat. So, I picked up this 99 XJ yesterday to put together for her.

The Jeep spent most of its life in TX and AZ and is free of all the typical NE rust.
Right now it's sporting a Rubicon 3.5" lift with Super Flex coils and rear leaf pack, monotube shocks, control arm drop, internally rotating JKS control arms, and disconnects. It also has ARB lockers installed front and rear, but they've never been plumbed, and is regeared to 4.56's. Tires are 33x10.5 BFG KM2s.

Obviously, the front fenders have already been cut. I need to research cutting and folding the rear.

My immediate plans are to just go through the Jeep and get it on the road and get the lockers hooked up. I have ARBs in my Tacoma and love them. Not sure how the Dana 35 will hold up locked? But they're already there, so I might as well have them working.

All the rubbers in the front are split and leaking. Instead of spending money on stock stuff, I'm going to look into HD steering setups.

The muffler is rusted through, so I'm just going to replace it and the old cat. Need to find out if I can pass emissions in NJ with a high flow cat.

Need to sort out the brakes as they're not working well. I'll try bleeding first, but I'm not that lucky.

I'm going to order a valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, and rear main seal right away. Trans pan gasket and filter as well. Then change all the fluids and go from there.

One thing I forgot to go back and look at after taking the pics was the oil and trans pans. It LOOKS like multiple screw screw heads on the bottom of both. Never seen this before.
