Well this cold going around kicked my butt and had me down for a few days.

Got the passenger leaf all done, had to cut the driver side leaf spring out but it wasn't a big deal. Can bolt in the new one but waiting until I finish the floor patches.

The cargo area patch is going well, got the largest section cut and started welding it in place. Still have a few small holes but those should be pretty easy. I will get some photos tonight.

My father and nephew are coming up for Thanksgiving and want to help the kids work on the jeep so that will be nice. I'm going to work hard to get the patches in place and painted before they get here.

Here are some pics of my patch and welding. I know it isn't pretty but still learning how to do this. Still have more welding to get all the joints done but the patches aren't coming out that's for sure.

For Thanksgiving my dad came up to visit, and lucky for me he is one of those people that would rather be doing something than just sitting around talking.

I got the following stuff installed
Gas tank
Skid plate
Hitch
New fuel filter
Leaf spring (driver side)
Rear Shocks
New brake lines

We also bleed the brakes, spread fiberglass in the cargo area to smooth out everything and fill in the small pin holes, undercoated the rear area and painted the cargo area.

I would have been happy getting half that done but my dad wanted to work on something so we knocked out as much as we could in the time we had.

This week I will me working installing the springs in the front and should be done for a while. Still need to put bed liner in the cargo area but that should be easy I have done the prep work already.

My dad also told me about a 75 MG a buddy has for sale. Always wanted one of those and this one has been in a barn for 20 years so the body is in great shape. Only asking $350 so I'm going to buy it and worry about getting it home later.

Ok lift is all done. It was snowing (very wet snow almost rain) when taking the photos but you can see it looks better than before.

Total lift was 4" in the rear and 3" in the front. I think it is because the rear springs where crap. It also sits level now too so that is cool.

Next is build a rear bumper but might take a few weeks off.
