Not yet... Thanks for asking!
The XJ is currently at my local mechanic being worked on.. For such things as... a missing exhaust-pipe-clamp, emergency-brake adjustment, high/low-headlamps are reversed (wiring?), and other small miscellaneous stuff. Then I can get it the first state-inspection since I took ownership.

Crist, the hi/low wiring on those small headlights changes side of the plug at some point. I ran into the same thing when upgrading the lights on my 88 Crown Victoria. I used a pick designed for the purposed and pulled the spade connectors and swapped sides for the newer headlights

Crist - thanks for all the insight on parts and vendors for your XJ limited build, I just recently picked one up an 89 and I am in the process of semi-restoration or (non-Crist restore), meaning nothing to your extent but just truing to fix the damaged or broken parts and make it a reliable weekend cruiser. My main body replacement needs are the bumpers and end covers which are bent or damaged. My understanding is these are not plug and play as far as a similar year Cherokee or aftermarket from Quadratec or other vendors, any advise is much appreciated. Also, mine was converted to manual seat brackets by the prior owner, I have a nice set of power seats front and back that are a close match color but debating on whether to go back to power, if they work?

Nice looking XJ... !!!
Absolutely true that the bumpers/guards are different than a Cherokee... I remember purchasing multiple sets that the merchants assured me they would fit... Not! I do remember where I purchased mine... Which was Rock-Auto... But have no idea they are still available.
Seat-covers... Is there an option to swap the seat-covers? If you don't feel like taking it on... A local upholstery shop could to them.
Also, this is a good FB group to join: https://www.facebook.com/groups/773206799371567/
Have fun!

Crist - Thanks for the response and fb tip. Your thread is great it’s like a Chiltons manual! , I’m torn on the seats would love new covers but unlikely to find and I have a decent set of leather power seats, rear seat and interior trim and door panels from a Cherokee or maybe 90-91 model Wagoneer Limited. But the front seats don’t have the limited badging, I basically could upgrade the interior with one that’s just slightly darker than the original but then it’s not original. I may end up just reupholstering the bottom half of the original seats.
So tough to find stuff for these, still looking for a good fog light replacement as mine are rotted under the covers, but at least I have the covers!! I’m even having trouble locating a matching visor clip!
Trying a new wheel set up above also and want to replace the rear leaf springs for a boost, more projects than time as always. I’m in PA also, Eastern but maybe we’ll pass each other one day out on the road!
thanks and can’t wait to see the finished product!

I made the decals/stickers in my build. Unfortunately, I do not have any more... Sorry.
The molding-clips... Yeah.. They break. So I removed all them except the end-caps. To remove them... I melted them out with an old soldering-iron.
Then, replaced them with the attached clips: http://stores.restorationspecialties...package-of-10/
Then, used the attached nuts with rubber inserts to seal the holes and keep the nuts away from the sheet-metal: https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-MM-Stud-T...item19d7bde4a8
Reused the old rubber inserts.
Finally, found tiny screws to hold on the end-caps.
