Jeep's up and running again. Had some issues with the cold and not being able to flush out the block, and the new water pump gasket was bad. Thanks to my work for allowing me to use an empty bay the last few days to finish it up. Runs good and should be almost ready for Winterfest 2018!
Suprised how well it ran with no cooling system, belt, air box, ect, attached
Caught my coworker snapping a pic of me tinkering
Victory parked next to the daily

I got lucky with the Civic, I needed a daily right away and an old coworker was selling his. Plus 32mpgs doesn't hurt. It won't be long before I start modding it too lol.

In the top pic yes 35s. Up front I have Rubicon Express 5.5" coils, they sit probably 6" even with the bumper and winch, and in the rear I have Rubicon Express 3.5" leaf springs (sat about 3.75-4") with 1.5" Boostwerks shackles and H.D. Offroad No-Lift relocation boxes, I have the shackles set to the farthest setting for the best angle and have about 5" of lift.

I got my Cherokee for $2500.00. Absolutely no rust on it. I was actually suprised by this because in Ohio we spread lots of salt when its snowy. When I got it my dad had to haul it with his friends F350 Powerstroke on a trailer because the brake line was shot.

Wow it's been a minute. Been mainly posting on my Instagram of things that I've done because it's easier.
after that water pump got fixed we had a nice snow storm and went out to play. Something caused the jeep to continuously overheat and we could never tell what. Turns out the lower rad hose popped off, and kept popping off for some reason. Got that fixed and everything ran fine except that the new water pump now squeaks from time to time.
Fast forward about a month later and a new 4WP store opened up not to far away that my buddy got a job at, my ball joints were shot (again), it was -5° outside, and he gave me a good deal. So I had a shop do them this time
fast forward again to the week before Winterfest. Crunch time. Helped Brandon get his new 3-link on, helped Bub try to get the V8 XJ running properly, finally did my driver side motor mount, got everything packed, and the jeep decided to get a cylinder 2 misfire.
1 fresh boi vs. 1 crumbly boi Brandons fresh Aresfab 3-link
Spare 35, spare shafts, spare water pump, fluids, tools, spare wheel bearing, spare ball joints and control arm bushings, and a spare D30 4.56 gears and install kit for when Brandon breaks his.
Trying to track down the misfire I took off the distributor to see if it was bad It was
replaced the 3 year old cap and rotor and it fixed nothing, checked the plug and it looked fine. Haven't done a compression test or pulled out any injectors yet, I did unplug the injectors 1 by 1 to see if it would change anything, but it didn't. Misfire stayed sounding like i had a cam for the duration of Winterfest and a few days past, randomly comes and goes now.
3 hours before we leave for Indiana we find out my radiator is cracked.
So this happened
A trip to Advance Auto and an hour 45 minutes later jeep's up and running cooler than ever.

Nice!! I'm really loving the Long Arm crossmember design where you welded in the brackets on uniframe but then made it so you can remove it in the middle section to drop your TC and transmission if needed. I want that done on mine and Rough Country should have thought of that so you could avoid having to remove those bolts everytime on the uniframe when something needs to be adjusted or done to drivetrain.
Looks like your getting burn on those contacts all around but I would just replace that cap, plugs and wires and see how it goes. Maybe a bad wire not firing 100% each time.

Sick rigs! I love that cage on the one but was thinking it would suck if he ever shattered that windshield and had to replace it.....Looks like you guys all had a great time out there and jealous.

Thanks man I got the caged one. I'm not too worried about it it doesnt really see road driving much anymore. If it broke I'd either deal with itr or figure it out.
