No more death wobble! Just have to adjust the passenger LCA because it pulls hard to the right, but other than that it's mint. Gonna test out the new arms, boostwerks shackles, and 35s at the Cliffs on the 21st

that's what fixed mine. I had been doing driveway alignments, but getting a professional one did the job as well for me

Finally got around to doing the drums. Waayyyy over due. I hate drums, but I like stopping, and it didn't go smoothly, a brake line snapped and had to get a new one. Still have to adjust my LCA then it's all set for the Cliffs this Sunday.

Default Cliffs day trip

Went out to the Cliffs yesterday and had a blast. On a normal dry day it's sloppy, but it rained all day so it was down right obnoxiously muddy.

Jeep preformed flawlessly, I'm suprised how much better it was with a few different components and bigger tires, didnt get stuck once or have difficulties with any obstacles really, can't wait to test it out at the Badlands. Only broke my drivers axle shaft yoke and u joint after sending it too hard, didn't even realized it until later, but I only had a spare passenger one. Made it back to the parking lot (barely with how slippery it was) in 2wd and took out the front driveshaft to drive home.

Pics!!
Met up with my coworker
Jeep had highway issues, i had to stay in OD 3250rpms the whole time to be at just 65mph. Used up half a tank. The temp gauge never went past 215, but i saw smoke and pulled over to see oil pissing out the rear main and my overflow tank boiling coolant. Let it sit to cool off and was fine. Didn't act like this on the way back either, steady 2250 rpms at 65 all the way, barely used a quarter tank.Everyone's rig
Brandon
Bub's freshly chopped XJ
Dawson
Yours truly

Coolant problems with the V8

Dawson is open/open so he had to persuade his jeep a bit more than us
I somehow Austin Powers myself bewteen 2 trees and had need help to finess out of it without losing a tailight.
It'll buff out
Got lost on the way to the mall

This guy
2017 Ford Raptor with 12k miles stuck on the frame in a nasty whole (which me and Brandon proceeded to dominate to show them who's boss)
Dawson got stuck here and I almost flopped again because of all the traffic because of the Raptor

Brandon bent his IRO long arm

Squad up to leave. Of course I forgot to air up again.

Went to a car wash
Back in 1 piece, 2wd, but still drivable
Also have to address the more flex i have now. Stuffed the rears into the fender, and the fronts hit more too. Need bumpstops and should probably cut out and seal the rears
For those wondering, the Boostwerks shackles do feel more smooth on the road and add a helluva lot offroad, didn't 3 wheel once because of the flex they gave. The new upper and lower control arms made the world of a difference, I can run this setup for another whole season to save up for the 3 link.

Monthly update I guess now. My mom's been dailying the jeep the past month almost since my sister messed up her car and it's not drivable currently. Was never able to get another alignment or check out anything besides throwing in a new shaft. Upper ball joints are done, wheel bearings toast, needs an alignment bad and is starting to wobble again. Steering gearbox pisses fluid out the busted rear seal, and the pump is going out too. Damn you 35s !

Already picked up a new pump and getting a used gearbox from a friend. Broke as hell currently too and stupid busy at work so no free time.

Got the gear box, but 2 bolts from the spacer are snapped inside so I'm either going to have to wrestle them out or drill them out, but it was free so I can't complain.

Bring it by this weekend If you have map gas or propane you can bring with I'll get them out for you. I've done it before.

Finally got around to some TLC time with the Jeep. Replaced the blower motor so it finally has heat again, granted it comes out the defrost still and only works on full blast, need to check the resistor. Got almost everything for the power steering and will be doing that tomorrow.

A/C was in the way and had to loosen the collar and try to bend it, didn't do much, but helped
