It all started last winter. My wife, kids, and myself were out driving around in the snow after church one Sunday. In a minivan. We come to a road-block sign that simply states "enter at your own risk". I wanted to enter, but alas, minivan. Over the next several months I just kept my eyes and ears open. Then this happened.



Scored this from a lady in our church for $500. Not too shabby! 170,000 on odemeter. Ran like a champ. Happy daddy.

I fixed some small stuff on it. Door hinges, mirrors, seat belts. Put a cheapy glass pack on it (sounds sweet though) from mighty muffler for $50 installed. Bought some walmart fog lights. Replaced liftgate struts. Getting real familiar with all the junkyard dudes around here. I'm an asst. pastor, so I am cheap and have limited income (don't believe what you see on tv ). So i kinda stalled here for a few months. Had a blast in the snow with it this winter with wife and 3 boys. But it just felt like something was missing. Our family just wasn't complete.

31x10.5 Goodyear Workhorse XG's. Scored these for $240 with trade in of junk road radials I had previously bought.

$85 buck from wally walworld! Head unit w/ 4 speakers. Sweet and cheap.

Ordered RC Series 2 3" add-a-leaf (I know, I know. Next year new leafs, back off) lift kit. Got kit, upgrade shocks, stabilizer, boots, and some extra stickers for $350!!! Thanks to Jason (Grimus in CF Vendors) for the awesome deal!!!

I know there are those that love or hate RC stuff. My suspension was shot. This kit dramatically IMPROVED my rig! Daddy's Jeep is not a Cadillac. It is not meant to be a smooooooth ridin' vehicle. I appreciate a lil' rigidity in the ride.

The customer service, deal, and value I think would be near impossible to beat. $350 worth of my 2 cents.

A friend (many builds under his belt) and myself (I'm a pastor who was in the electrical trade for 10 yrs prior, so I'm handy) threw it under my Jeep in about 8 hrs. Thank you Clint Hatfield of SOJA (Southern Ohio Jeepers Association)! Can't thank you enough bro!

Not the most techologically advanced or impressive rig in the world but, for under $1500, I am impressed.
