Then I tore my downstream O2 sensor out. So now the jeep wont start. And unfortunately the end part that bolts on wont twist off no matter how much bolt breaker or WD40 we put on it

Try and heat it and get it cherry red. Also try something other then wd-40 . Get a penetrating formula like pb blaster or zep. Betters your chances but that looks really rusted in there. Good luck

Tried pb blaster already and nothing unfortunately, I'll have to try heating it though

Relented and took it to the shop finally. Turns out my power train control module was shot? At least I'm pretty sure that's what it was. Been a while since I got it back I've just been busy with school and work. Didn't replace the O2 sensor and as of now theres just a quarter sized hole in my cat. But it runs again and for that Im glad.

Also just recently put 165k miles on it. Figured that was cool even though its nothing compared to some of yall

The next task was tackling the headliner that I despised so much. It was in perfect condition but that's because the PO didn't drive a jeep like its supposed to be driven, windows down crushing the trails and back roads.

As you can see I pretty much destroyed it (except for the bubble in the back) so I figured why not make it my own and make sure it'll last. I dismantled everything on the inside and pulled it out. Stripped the old liner out and scrubbed the foam off.

Next on the to-do list was to get the material that will be replacing it, and I decided on this blue and grey plaid fleece, super stretchy and soft. Plus it was on sale! Bought way too much of that, used about 2 and a quarter yards and bough like 4 total. Also picked up some Super 77, again bought too much, and theen headed home.

Aftere layinng it out, measuring it, gluing it and then cutting the necessary holes in it I was ready to put it in the jeep. Took a second person to do so, but eventually got it back in and bolted everything back.

Here's the finished product, I think it looks great and with as much as I love driving its a nice quality of life addition. New headliner for under $50

Haven't updated in a while, money's been tight and almost traded it for an xj a few days ago. When my gf swayed me in favor of keeping it I decided I should put together a build sheet so I'll have some purpose and direction with this build. It will go as follows, not in any particular order.
  • 3 1/2 - 4 inch lift kit from IRO
  • Trail Master TM5 Wheels - 15x10
  • 31x10.5x15 Mudclaws
  • Upgraded Driveshaft (Current one has seen better days)
  • Swap the trim for the ZJ Limited Trim (Can't find any where I live)
  • New headlights and Turn Signals (Current have cracks in them)
  • Custom Grille Inserts or if I hit the lottery a V8 5.2 Limited Grille
  • Trim the Front Fenders to minimize rubbing
  • Make some kind of platform in the back for sleeping and storage
  • Single Row Raxium Light Bar
  • VIC Delete
  • Replace Interior Bulbs
  • Install CB Radio
  • Fab up some kind of Spare Tire Carrier
  • Tube Front Bumper (GF hates Stingers but I'll get it anyway)
  • Front and Rear Lockers
  • Side Pipe it (Just below Passenger Door and before Wheel Well)
  • Monstaliner it ___?_____ (Undecided Color but I've got plenty of time)
  • Mountain Vista Fabrication Rear Quarter Panel Armor
  • Snorkel Kit?
  • Add a ladder for easier Roof Access

That's all for now and I'll add more if anything comes to mind, glad I didn't trade it in. The build will crawl on but hopefully I'll make a rig out of this thing yet.
