Back in a JEEP!
I will start my build thread off with a little about how i ended up back with a Jeep.. I had a 04 Wrangler with a 3 inch body lift with 33 tires, but ended up selling that for a 07 GTI (better on gas) later regretted that decision, loved the GTI just missed my Wrangler. Then i had to go and buy a house and get married so I decided to get rid of the GTI and go for a fancy brand new F-150 thinking I need it for house stuff, well out comes the kid so the fancy new F-150 ecoboost had to go it was too much $. I was trying to figure out what to get while trying to sell the truck and I could not think of anything else but the old Cherokees so i found one at a dealership, they took my truck of my hands and gave me a ok deal on a 2000 jeep Cherokee Limited with 57,000 miles on it. and that is where the fun begins!
few pics of my old rigs and a picture of my old truck and new Jeep at the dealership

Jeep info:
The good:
57,000 miles on it
Interior is clean
Body was pretty clean few scraps here and there
underbody was not bad as far as rust
The bad
Exauhst was pretty much one bump from falling off
Rear leaf springs rusted
shocks where bad etc etc etc. so i had to of course put a lift on it...
Install went pretty easy took around 6 hours, no real bolts besides the rear shock bolts busted off so we got lucky for how rusty it was.

Here it is after the lift was installed, 3.5 rubicon express super ride full leaf kit. still have the little tires on it but looking to get a set of 31 BF Goodrich A/T. not really planning on doing to much off roading, more a daily driver. One day hope to get something else than this be turned into a father son off roading prodject. but that will be down the road. for now this is my daily driver.

Could not handle the old 2000 audio set up so i had to change it.
Alpine CDE-143BT head unit
Alpine SPS-610C 6-1/2" Components for the front doors and also the rear sound bar.
8 inch Kicker in a truck box for now, planning on building a fiberglass one for the little cut out in the back hatch.
Planet audio 1000 amp
over all it sounds good, need to get a amp for the door speakers. the stock one i think distorts the highs in the component speakers.

That is all for now, some future plans
-get the 31 tires for it
-need to get a hitch to tow the bass boat and trailer for the wood.
-new headliner, no pattern in mind yet but would like to try my hand at that.
-rear sub box
-start rust control for the underbody
-MonstaLiner the outside of it.
and much more just have to save up for everything but over time it will come together. for now its running ok besides the last few days it has been stalling out at intersections and if i leave it to warm up in the morning, but I think that is only from the cold we are having here in jersey.

Does anyone know what this is? it is coming out of the head liner right behind the review mirror. is it the temp gauge? did it just fall out of the head liner?
