Wow! I really like what you have done to your XJ. Just read the entire thread in like an hour. I had never seen a two door with those rear windows. I did see a two door who's rear windows were kinda like chrome tint or gun metal and that was factory tint I guess those are rare too. Also I had never seen that third light wing looks funky in a good way. Those new wheels look sick specially in that color. Keep up the good work.

Going to give the XJ a much needed break, she now has 171k miles on the clock. I've had the parts to rebuild the entire front end along with some upgrades for 6 months, but been so busy with other projects have not had the time to work on it. But after several months of searching for a specific and suitable DD, I picked up a 1998 Acura Integra GS-R coupe with 44k miles. I had a sedan in high school that I reluctantly sold many years ago and was fortunate to find this car.
Made a few upgrades and have a few more planned.

So the updates are as follows:
Banks Monster Cat back exhaust
Rubicon Express 1" boomerang shackles
Bilstien 5100s
Service and reseal rear diff with Mobil 1 Severe Gear
Rubicon Express t case drop (have SYE just didnt have time to do)
Transmission fluid dump and replace with Castrol Dex-Merc
Rubicon Express Super Ride Lower Control Arms
Rubicon Express .75" front spacer
Bilstien 5100s
Service and reseal front diff with Mobil 1 Severe Gear
Core 4x4 Fabrication Extreme Duty Track Bar
Synergy Manufacturing Heavy Duty ball joints
Moog ZJ V8 steering
SSBC Big Bite Brakes
Rough Country stainless braided brake lines
SKF wheel bearings
It has not ever driven as good as it does right now. I have put 33k miles on it in 2 years, and that will slow some due to a move. But I can say that I haven't ever enjoyed it this much. I will probably do the upper control arms, a leather interior kit and some PDR work and just drive it.

Oh my it's been over a year since the last update. Still around, been daily driving it as usual. Not many updates besides a full refresh after a truck backed into it in the parking lot at work. Did some decent damage to the rear bumper and hatch.
Took this picture to show all the terrible salt, and 45 mins later the damage occurred.
Took to the body shop for assessment and got on the schedule for the repairs for December 17th. Parts became difficult to find, so its take a little longer than hoped.
Decided to have all the hail dents taken out and the dents from the accident done, as well as all new OEM rear bumper and caps, as well as painting the front bumper and new OEM caps. I also had the flares and hood vents refinished due to rock chipping. Looks pretty sad.
Should be done sometime this week.
Also sold the Acura Integra and picked up a 2008 Mercedes E63. Very neat car and a ton of fun to drive.
Biggest addition incoming is another 4 door XJ. Should be here in the next couple weeks, been looking for a month for a SE no options, clear glass, steel wheels, government XJ to build an expedition/camping rig. Very excited.
