Default A '92 Sport called Raider

I bought my 1992 Cherokee Sport in 2009 for $1,150. It already had a 3 inch lift, Fog lights, and a moon roof (Sadly, it has a massive leak). The last owner was an engineer, so he kept every service and upgrade receipt, from the newspaper ad he bought it from to the last oil change he gave it before we bought it.

Only issues it had the first years were caused by my Teenager style of driving... Like the Axel and U-joint i broke.
First thing i did was get it 31inch tires. When i bought it, it had stock size tires on a 3inch lift. Yeah that wasn't gonna work lol! Other than that i just installed a CB and antenna. And due to no funds that was it. I don't have plans on making this a HUGE build, just a daily driver for now. I might not even lift it anymore than it is.

Specs:
Trim: SPORT
Engine: AMC 242 I6 "High Output"
Transmission: Aisin-Warner AX15
Transfer Case: New Process 231
Axles: Dyna 30(High pinion, 27-spline, ABS) / 35 (C-clip)
Tires: 31/10.5 Goodyear Mesa A/P

Modifications list:
Homebrew Cowl Snorkel (ABS version)
#703 fuel injectors
Rough Country AAL 3inch lift
Straigh-piped exhaust (With side downturn just before the rear axle)
Removed rear swaybar
Adjusted turn-stops
Cobra 19 CB with PA (Old Police siren used as the PA, needs an amplifier)
Removable front doors

One of it's current but minor issues, last owner had it painted at Maaco, who forgot to put hardener in the paint. they fixed it by cooking the whole truck which screwed all the grease. It's bubbling and cracking over the whole truck.

A battle scar, last owner made it. I like it though, gives him character

My first modification since i joined this site, installed a glasspack!

My original muffler was ripped in two while i tried to pull a buddy out of the mud at his ranch. He drove a stock S-10 that sits 7 inches off the ground, and was trying to show off to his GF. First thing i said: "That went well, I'll get the Jeep."

Anyways my temp fix was remove the muffler and tailpipe (Which was bent as well) and clamped on a 90 degree pipe and tip onto the cat. That wire is left over from my first attempt at a sidepipe, which was a cut up section of the original pipe

It was loud, but cheap.

I finally spent the $34 to get a Thrust Glasspack, which i had to mod. Even though it was the right size, 1.25inch, it was too big. So i had to cut 2 notches in it to make it fit.

It slid right on. I took this photo after my first attempt...

It ended up sliding about an inch when i fired the engine up (I swear i tightened it!). So i cut a second notch in it, and tightened it even more.

I'm raising more money to get a replacement tailpipe, which when i do get i will have the whole system welded up.

I forgot i made this thread lol. I renamed my jeep "Raider".

Recent mods, installed an OEM Dashclock and OEM footlights. Then i put red LEDs in the foot lights.

Also put a new tailpipe on! Except the alignment for it was off by a few inches so it's not on very well. But it works!

I keep forgetting to post here. Mods since my last post!

Ditched my Glasspack and installed the tailpipe properly. Leaks a little at the joints, but a little exhaust puddy will fix that.

Removed my rear swaybar, busted my knuckles trying to undo the bolts so i just broke out the sawzaw Had the drum removed so i could get to the big bolt, then stripped out the smaller bolt above which is when i busted my knuckles.

Forgot to flip it off.

Then did the ABS system version of the Cowl snorkel. ABS version means i had to cut the hole in the passenger side and use a cone filter, since the ABS pump thing was in the way of the normal way to install this.

Cut the hole in the firewall using a 1/2inch drill pit and my trusty Sawzaw. Buuut, i cut it too far to the right, so the tub is bent weird inside the cowl thanks to the wipers.

K&N 3130, I did have to make the opening in the cowl under the cowl grille bigger by cutting.
I will get a picture of it soon

Waking the dead when someone cuts me off with a Wolo 419 "Bad Boy" dual-tone airhorn and a Wolo 380-2T "Full Blast" electric horn.

Glad I checked out your build, looking good man! I went to the junkyard the other day and found a few 95-97 neons but the last 3 numbers on the injectors wasnt 703?!? Your cowl intake is very cool, Id like to do that. Also props on a million youtube views.

Thanks! and holy ****! I never realized it was so high! I know why though, i uploaded the movie Twister a while ago, so almost all of my views and subscribers are from that. YouTube blocked the movie in North America though.

Anyways, i think it's 94-95 on the 2.0l I4, i can't remember and i deleted the bookmark. I'll try finding it again.
