Another youngen build
Well it started out at a 2000 Cherokee Classic that i picked up for $2400, it had a 116K power everything, factory 6 disc wonderful aftermarket sunroof... no rust except for on the roof, that got painted right away and the A/C did not work and the owner never used a remote and said it never had one, i knew he was wrong so i got one the next day and had it programmed.
This is the day i got it home:
First off i needed a trailer hitch for the jet skis:
So i got myself a class III hitch for $115 shipped and installed it, pretty easy install and ran the wiring for it.
Next i needed to upgrade the sounds (being 18 music is huge factor and you gotta have one step up from all the friends!)
First off the Panasonic 7" flip up touchscreen DVD player
Then a set of Pioneer speakers front and rear.
the 5.25s don't give any bass so i needed some subs, and like i said i had to beat out all the friends so i got 2 12" Pioneer premier champion pro series 3000 watts a piece a 2400 Watt Rockford Fosgate amp and wired it up with some 0 gauge wiring.
Next i found a surco rack with Hella lights mounted on it already on here for sale so i picked that up and wired it in:
Wasn't sure where i wanted the switches to be mounted so i chose here:
Next i think its time for room for bigger tires!
So i ordered this:

I had to go with the Rubicon Express 3.5" Superride kit, but made the mistake of getting add-a-leafs:
I also found a set of Hella 550 driving lights in the garage from one of my dads old projects so i mounted then to the bumper. During the install we also replaced the front-rear brake line because it looked pretty corroded.
I ended up getting a set of Teraflex shackles to raise the rear back up, and this is me playing around after i got a set of 265/75R/16 BFGoodrich all terrain TA KOs:
Also a bit after the install i had a rear brake wheel cylinder rust out on me, kind of a scary moment driving home and going to stop at a light and your foot goes to the floor, luckily i had room to stop myself downshifting, and e braking and ended up rebuilding the entire rear brakes just to be safe.

Next i realized the headlights needed to be improved so i went with a H4 conversion off ebay, then ended up getting some brighter bulbs.
Also went with some clear bumper and marker lenses
And i had to test it in the snow:
It was at this point where some ice build-up on my roof got jealous of her...
Ice in comparison to my phone:
The damage:
The windsheild was shattered, the roof had some nice sized dents, the hood and fender had a couple and even the door managed to have one. After a $500 deposit it was covered by insurance and its a good thing because my quote was $2080!
When i got it back from my dads bodyshop (sorry another phone pic)
Not to much went by for the rest of winter, but in spring i found a new project!
2002 WRX 80k 2.0 turbo 5 speed, thousands in under the hood upgrades lowered, aftermarket and factory rims, this thing was sick! and it was faster then anything i have ever driven! but it was missing second gear so i picked it up for $4000 a big mistake the seller realized after i gave the deposit i spent $1600 rebuilding the trans drove it around for a month or two and realized i was out of money, and sold it for $9800. not a bad profit for a youngster.

And bringing it up to today,
I also got a Edge Trailjammer package Intake, Chip and throttle body, definetly got some better throttle response and smoother shifting, i did get it used off another Jeep forum who the owner said he only used it for about 10k and everything worked perfectly so i got it for $300 shipped, not bad for the power gains with easy install.
Dont have pics, but i could get some if anyone was interested.
i also hit a milstone of 123,456 miles:
And found a fellow jeeper at the college i go to!
I undercoated the entire underside in Rustolum black (surprisingly looks very good and maybe the best $9 purchase ive made) and installed a set of rugged ridge tow hooks up front! (never ended up taking pictures of the install but will be out after the rain stops to grab some) and got a hi-lift jack and mounted it to front bumper, i like it there because its different and looks sick coming at you!
Sorry they are phone pics:
Upcoming mods:
Cat-back system.
New Trac-bar since i originally just relocated the old one
and hopefully a set of offset black rims or at least spacers for these!
and maybe another set of foglights

Yeah i guess in the middle of the night it fell and set off my alarm, but i slept through it, to wake up and my dad told me to go outside and look at my car. So i looked out the window and it wasn't where i parked it so i originally thought it was stolen haha but then i looked around and saw it at the end of my driveway..

Well i found this stuff called Nite Shades, its a spray tint for lights and it looks really cool on some cars such as on this Scion:
I figured hey i mine as well give it a try it can't be that hard....
Well i found out i have no patience and am horrible at clearcoating so i got something more like this:
The side of the left tail is really messed up when you look at it close, but from 5 feet or more it looks pretty sick! i needed to keep a red reflector to be legal, so i made 3 hole design (mostly didn't like the orange)
Not horrible but wish it came out looking perfect
I also had to copy a forum member (not sure of his name but with the amazing yellow XJ) and made a custom hook 12,000 LB strength to use a tow point:
Also decided it would be kinda cool to paint the rear-end pumpkins red:
