ABJ's XJ project....

No, I don't lick fish.
This is the stock AL cover that came on the earlier 4.0s... just removed it, painted it, and razored the paint off the "fins" to give it the look of the aftermarket valve covers. Turned out really good, but I goobered up the finish installing it. The paint really needs a few days to harden and I couldn't wait because it's my DD.

Looks good!
I used one of the websites that makes the upgraded battery cables dimensions and took them to napa and had them make me 4 gauge battery cables. They're very nice quality and not too pricey. The other good thing about doing them that way is you can replace them one by one as your budget allows instead of dropping $100+ all at once. Plus they make them right there in just a few minutes.

A friend did the epoxy primer for me but I'm pretty sure you can get that I. Can form from a body shop supply shop. The paint was $30 a can. It's actual urathane car paint with hardner put into a spray can. Used 3 cans so it was $90 for that.
I want in and asked for a 2000 jeep wheel color. He brought the book out and I picked the color I liked. They mixed it and put it in spray cans for me.
