Project Tank
I started off with a 96 2wd cherokee classic with 209,xxx miles that i bought for 400$ from the junkyard needed a few things did some light wheelin' but i just wasnt satisfied.
So a year of being trail deprived i bought this:
This build Will be a Light Trail Vehicle, My camping vehicle, and my DD.
it is 4wd 1999 xj with 116,xxx miles on it bought for $3,000 came with soft 8's seeing as though i turned around and sold my 2wd xj for 900$ (thats a 500$ profit HEHE) so the first thing i did was get some tires i made a rookie mistake and got my tires from pep boys!!! OMG!! Flame on. They are nice but i couldve gotten some retreads for a quarter of the price they are 31x10.50R15 definity Dakota Mud terrains comparible to the bfg mt's
anyways got them put on a couple of days after getting the jeep here is the diffrence.
When they put them on the guys were so funny they were like um you cant drive this home its rubbing i was like...............ok but i am. They had no idea where and to what degree i was taking this project i went home with my car farting everytime i turned lol went home did some trimming and this is where is at
i also picked up these crossbars from a junkyard for 17$
Painted the center caps black
And Tow Hooks for 15$ found at the junkyard on a f-150
Plans for the future (next 4 months) in order:
Bed line the bottom panel under the logo's
3 inch RC lift kit
Roof rack of some sort still deciding
New front bumper also still deciding
armor for the undercarriage ive alread got some dents and dings from one trail ride lol
**Paint JOB i am more than likely going all black with this project
Let me know what you guys think so far!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! WARNING THERE ARE EXTREMELY FUNNY PICTURES AHEAD WE PURPOSELY DRESSED AND WORE THE THINGS WE DID IT WAS 87 DEGREES AND WE HAVE FUN!!!!!
I trimmed the front and rear fenders preparing for my 4 inch lift
we used:
Dremel (until we ran out of disc's)
Jig saw (until we lost the blade)
Hand saw
masking tape
First i taped off everything to protect my paint incase i slipped wish i had put it a little higher at one point but none the less it helped big time
(SAFETY FIRST IN NO WAY WAS IT LOUD AT ALL LOL)
WE used a Dremel for the most part
ONCE AGAIN SAFETY FIRST!!! LOL
My Girlfriend patiently waiting ALL DAY LONG Thats a REAL girlfriend!
AND FINALLY THE FINISHED PRODUCT
Some details need to be done ill save that for another day !
