99 XJ

Ok so I'm a little slow to get this going. I finally got an XJ after searching for a long time, this is the first Jeep I've ever owned, although in high school I drove an 87 MJ for a bit. I also helped my Dad rebuild his 87 Wrongler. So I'm not completely new to Jeeps. I actually didn't buy my XJ, I had built an 80 GMC short wide, and traded it for the XJ. Good trade in my opinion. The XJ has some mods already, and is as follows:
Airraid cold air
Throttle body spacer
Rusty's off road 2 inch springs up front
Old Man Emu 2 inch leafs out back
Skyjacker shocks all around
Some sort of aftermarket rear bumper
The XJ had 186k on it, 4.0, auto tranny, Dana 30 up front, Chrysler 8.25 rear. And everything works! Well with the exception of the radio, and 3 of the door locks, lol. And of course the check engine light is on...overdrive solenoid...it comes and goes, but it shifts good, so it may need to be serviced. This is going to be my DD, so I am not doing any drastic mods, and do some weekend wheelin, muddin, camping.
Future mods:
2.5 exhaust-front to back, hi flow cat, prob a chambered muffler.
Header
Electric fans
Front spring spacer up front and shackle the rear to achieve a full 3 inches.
Wheels
At least 30x9.5 tires if not 31s
Interior work(headliner, possibly race style bucket seats, Stereo, speakers etc)o
Fab bumpers and rear swing away spare tire carrier.
And whatever else my wife will let me get away with, lol
Pics and updates will follow.....

update

Ok so within two weeks of owning my XJ I bought some TJ 15x8 aluminum wheels with 30x9.50 tires, much better. Heres a list of stuff done so far:
Oil and filter
Overall inspection, top to bottom
new front axel U joints
took apart the front brakes/cleaned and lubed (I had a caliper lock up on me)
New AM/FM CD head unit-Dual-its a cheap one, but sounds great!
I took out and redone the headliner, but instead of using upholstery, I sprayed bedliner on it. I think it looks good, been getting compliments on it.
also replaced the rear speakers with Pioneer 2 way, much better than stock-plus I only had one rear speaker working.
took off the side body molding

That's all I've got so far, more to come!
