99 Smurf Build
This was a weekend after I had gotten my smurf. It had the stock wheels and tires till we put some Beefy Tires
First weekend out with Smurf to Pismo. Jumped alot of dunes. Got stuck and pulled alot of Fjs out Also put on the Wilderness Rack.
Slaped the 5.5 Rock Krawler Long arm on. Looks Great still with 32s.
New Tires. 33'' Maxxis Bighorns
He's Flexy At The Butt Crack at BC109/Dome Springs in Frazier Park
Vnotch in Gorman. (Wasnt part of the trail)
Big Bear Gould Mountain
This is the Lunch Spot on Miller. I was racing into the shade till a tree reached out and grabbed my rack.
Corva Event is gorman. Not even aired down
Last Run Before Our Big Accident with Smurf. I was in a right turn lane and a Lady in a Civic descides to cut infront of me on the shoulder and my stinger goes through her driver window lifting her of the ground. I wonder is she hit a ramp first
This is what He Looks like now. These arnt recent pictures. We've dont a cut and fold on the rear and put boat sides on

Looking Good
Nice XJ! I like the Smurf!
Glad you were able to repair the jeep after the accident. How is the Rock Krawler long arm working out? Did you get the triple threat or X factor kit?

Its just a old hamy down kit from a friend when that he had on his XJ. 5.5 Mid arm. The only thing ive done is replace the front springs to 6.5 next upgrade is the rear leafs or to convert it to spring over

Nice! I have heard good things about the X Factor Mid arm. I was looking at DirtBound's Mid Arm Kit after a buddy told me about it.

Hey jay!! Funny I came across this thread, I saw your intro on Xjsocal too! You gotta tell me...what's the story on the rear tire carrier...it looks like an original from the 80s xjs, if so, how does it hold up with 33s? And what kind of plating did you do to the interior? Love the smurf...effen sick!!

This weekend consists of-
Hopefully meeting someone to pick up the rocker guards
Installing SYE in boyfriends TJ. Hes finally manning up
Problems with Smurf are: The Exhaust Headers are cracked from head to toe. My brand new cheapy motor mouts are melting and my fan is cut up from the motor mounts giving out, me articualting is just making it worse the fan is about 50% damaged haha.
So, ordered M.O.R.E motor mounts. Getting a APN Exhaust Manifold
and havent descided on fan yet.
Pictures will be up soon
