I forgot to add I put in a DirtBound Offroad battery tray. It fit...with some slight modification. I had to take a monkey wrench and bend the seam down so the battery tray bottom would sit flat where the old one was. Not too much of an ordeal. Now the battery sits snug and doesn't move!

Has anyone ever heard of the their axle shafts wearing out where they go into the spider gears in the diff? The Xj is at the shop and they said they think the humming sound I put it into the shop for is coming from the spider gears/ axle shafts.

No real updates at the moment. Jeep is still at the shop. It's been on the back burner while I'm playing in the sand if you know what I mean. Hopefully the sho has some good news for me.

The lift is a Rubicon Express 3.5" super ride so whatever springs and leafs come with the kit.

Slight trimming if I remember right on the front. Literally hardly anything at all.

Snagged a 6 planetary gear set out of a '95 241C. Replacing the oil pump in the trans case and figured if throw it in there while it was open. Keep in mind the picture below it still has the 241c input shaft. You'll want to swap your original 231 into the planetary gear.
