Default 99 Daily Driver

Bought a 1999 Cherokee Limited the other week. Previously owned a 1999 TJ Sport that I beat on for years while I lived in Wyoming.

Found this gem, with high miles but in great condition, at a really low asking price.

Building it to be a reliable daily driver, but also a capable weekend warrior.

I started with a Rustys 3in Coil Pack lift, and JKS Quick Disconnects. I also purchased a RE 1in Xcase lowering kit. I also threw in Quadratecs floor liners in the front and back. There's no rust in the floor pans, so I'm hoping the floor liners will help keep it that way.

Threw on 30x9.5/15 General Grabber AT2 tires (for anyone who hasnt used these, they are great. Much better than the BFG All Terrains...I had 31" AT2s on my TJ and they ate through everything).

Right now I'm in the process of installing my lift, about 3/4 of the way done, and the jeep fought the whole way .

Anyway, here are some pictures.

Got my jeep "drive able". Broke the bolts on my rear shock, mad over the course of 4 hours COULD NOT get new bolts in.

Couldn't get my JKS links on because nothing could press out the sway bar bolts.

So she's lifted, but missing front sway bar links and a rear drivers side shock.

I'm worn out from installing this stuff...pretty close to having a shop install that rear shock...it's driving me insane.

Finished my JKS disconnects.

A pitman/tie-rod puller works wonders for getting the pressed in bolts free. crank it down and let it slowly push them out.

rear shock is still 'iffy'. I put smaller hardware in, and was able to fish it through...however, I'm worried the smaller hardware won't hold up.

I'm getting some vibes from the lift, but I have my Xfer case drop on hand to put in when I get enough enthusiasm to crank those studs loose.
