why did you go with the front leaf setup in the front? not questioning your knowledge, just whats the pros/cons of doing it?

well there are a lot of people who like to argue that subject. im not saying leafs are better its just prefference. i PERSONALLY chose to do leaf springs up front because of a couple different reasons. putting leafs in the front makes axle swaps a lot easier, only have to worry about 4 total bushings in the front end, the cost difference, and its just something different. i was tired of bushings always going out in my control arms and i hated how many different bars were in the front end. i dont think leafs are as bad as everyone thinks they are. so far they ride smoother than my Rubicon express coils did, i flex much more than with links, and there isnt really any axle wrap up front. and i wanted to just be different. so far i am loving the front springs. setting it up for leafs was really easy to and im glad with the route i took on the project

easy oil change

I like it!

Leaf springs work great, I always wondered how easy that would be to switch.

Also love the sub-frame connectors. I'll be doing that to mine when I eventually do the lift.

well since i last posted i have done some work to the jeep. i had the front axle cut down 6 inches and i threw some alloy usa xjoints in the front. i just recently got it done and this last weekend i took it out for a run. the jeep ran awesome and had no issues with any obstacle. it was only evans creek so it wasnt anything too difficult. here are some pictures and videos

Looks good. How are the front leafs doing? It looks like the leafs are inverting on full flex.

Why was the hood popped? Overheating?
