well I was camping and riding dirtbikes up in ny this weekend, a number of guys bought vehicles on their way just to beat on for the weekend, a few xjs a zj, a pathfinder, an old van, a Suzuki x-90, a few Suzuki trackers and samuaris, it rained Thursday into Friday a lot ao it was really really muddy, I don't have too many pictures in my photobucket but ill post what I got

antenna to jeep comparison, i gotta get a spring for the mount and a tennis ball to keep it from making too much noise from swinging off the side of the jeep, havent mounted the antenna yet, tmrw or sometime soon im gonna do that


also gotta find a good spot to mount my maglite charger and hardwire it into the jeep. looking at a cowl intake so i can run a second batter where the stock intake is. also looking at the ottraw switches for any accessories i add, im starting to ramble and not make any sense with order of speaking so im gonna go to sleep

ordered 4 shocks and iro double shear trackbar, just gonna fix the fuel regulator and reinstall the tank and itll be on its way to get the lift!!!!!

Well shocks and fuel regulator will be here between tmrw and Wednesday, today I got the passenger door on drill died before I could finish the drivers

Well after school today I cleaned the mud out of my rear wheel wells and re sprayed them with rustoleum bedliner since in areas the factory under coat was rubbed off by tires, I gotta get some motivation yo do the fronts since there's more in the way, I gotta neaten my cut and folds, and get a wire wheel to clean them so my friend can weld them together for me

Well the past two days the jeep has been having issues starting, now I gotta buy a battery....might as well bite the bullet and spend the $150 on the redtop optima, hopefully the local battery store has it for same or cheaper then amazon...now gotta wait til Monday to get one...it drops to 6 volts cranking, and about 10 sit off, alternator is fine, shows 14 volts on dash, multimeter on battery shows 13.6 while running/charging

So I got a bunch of parts yesterday, almost new battery from a friend, OEM battery tie down, drivers door harness, header panel and front marker lights, tail lights, and the coolant overflow hose. Got the drivers door harness connected so for the first time in 4 months my windows are closed, doors are locked and I got a correct sized battery and tie down, and no cracked header panel, next gotta open my hatch to chance the tails and run wires for my cb antenna

so im getting a cel, p0171, for cylinder bank 1 running lean, I looked overall the vacuum lines, only found that the one from the top of the tank to that evap box came off the box, reconnected that and seemed to run better for a bit, the one on the front of the intake manifold was cracking, but I fixed that. I pulled out that iacv and cleaned that up but still is idling a little lumpy, a friend that's a Mercedes mechanic recommended replacing the upstream o2 sensor that I never have before, which could explain why the exhaust smells strongly of gasoline even though the code is for lean, oh and the sparkplugs are black, last night I pulled them and they were just a brownish but no where near how bad they are now, I ordered the o2 sensor hopefully when that gets here and I do spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, hopefully that will help, another possibility was that the fuel filter could be clogged, any way to check that short of replacing it or no? this is bothering me bc I just got the lift in and u until then it ran fine with no issues, then a week after lifting it and one small wheeling trip it starts screwing up...

well I fixed the cel, no issues anymore, got to wheel three times this weekend, some fun stories, as always the most interesting parts I didn't get pictures of, but ill post the pics I have and explain the stories

so I was going up a steep rock face that I did the other night without any issues, but last night since the other people with me were outside of my vehicle, and we had another vehicle I got a little to skinny pedal and tried a harder line, ended up slipping off the face towards the right, a dirt bank cought me before I rolled fortunately, only think I broke was another tail light, but some how the bulbs survived, front drivers side was fully dropped out, and was still a good foot off the ground, open diffs screwed me for sure, if I was locked front and rear I think I coulda kept going forward, but I had to back up and slide around a bit to get free, but in the end it worked out good and we turned around and continued on our merry way and had a nice bonfire and hungout for a while, next time we gotta remember hotdogs and smores!

now im looking to get the jcr tail light boxes, id like to get the all in ones with the quarter panel armor, but its too pricey atm so im gonna do them individually at least the taillights will be less likely to break now lmao

some more wheeling this weekend, so far since ive had the lift all ive broken was a tail light, the tcase drop seems scarier then it actually is, I like this wheeling and not hearing stuff scrape the bottom, only got hung up once on a log, the drivers side wheel was on one side of it, passenger wheel on another, the diff was scraping the log just below the pinion, didn't want to go into the bushes to get out but finally did so I wouldn't be waiting for someone to show up, open diffs curse you every time.

also did a bunch of maintenance Friday, oil, filter, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and a coolant flush

so long time no updates, all ive really done is wheel wheel, drive to work and school, got stuck good a few times, once on a downed tree with the front wheels on either side of it, but was able to get out on my own, second time was this past friday night, picked up a girl from work and went for a bonfire, that kinda didnt work out so just kept wheeling, turned down a trail i thought was something else, went to turn around and sunk in mud almost to my rockers, at this point it was about 230am, i tried calling and texting most of the people i know one replied but had no gas and couldnt get to any close gas station to fill up, other guy that replied was someone i only knew thru cherokee forum, he drove to get me over an hour at 530 in the morning and helped me out! my friend jess was unbelievably calm through the whole ordeal, anyone else i think if they didnt kill me i woulda killed them before the end of the night hahaha, she was just like well the jeep isnt busted and no ones hurt so its ok, ill deal with my dad when i get home...good thing he wasnt home when i dropped her off at 9:30am that woulda been a nice way to meet him...but anyway i told rob to come back up next weekend so we can wheel and im filling his tank for him

well not much has happened with this in a while upgrades wise, motor mounts went and didnt have money for a few weeks to replace them, finally yesterday i got the mounts, a new serpentine belt, fan clutch, oil and filter, last night a few buddies came by and we got the mounts mostly done, gotta get them lined up to the frame still, which will hopefully be tonight. tomorrow gonna be selling my 30s and rubicon wheels and getting a set of steelies and 33 12.50 15 bfg all terrains :/ the a/ts are temporarily til i get some more important stuff done and can afford a set of km2s or pitbull rockers

by next summer i plan on having a three link up front and bilstein 7100s then get to rear suspension more
