98 xj 2wd 2 inch lift
Hey guys. This is my first XJ and I wanted a little lift on it. I picked it up bone stock with 140,000 on the clock. I put those $20 driving lights from wally world on it and the rough country 2 inch shackle and spacer lift.
This is with the stock 225/75/15's. I plan on putting some BFG AT ko's on it 30x9.50 with the ribbed Ravine rims off the wranglers.
It will get longer shocks in the back, but the front looks ok to me. Nothing bottoms out either way so I think its good. I will post more pics with the new tires in a couple of months.
Here are the before and after pics. What do you think?

Salvage find!
Hey guys. Pulled this off an 89 cherokee with the tow package. It seems pretty heavy to me. 5000lbs. with a 750 lbs tongue weight.
Cleaned up with a wire wheel on a grinder and painted it with Rust Stop satin black (from ACE hardware). Turned out pretty good I thought. Any suggestions for how to run the harness for trailer lights? Haven't figured out how I plan to do that just yet.

Looks great except for one thing your rear spings are gonna break sooner or later ,I would invest in a set from Quadratec you can get the heavy dutys for 99.00 ea. Besides that it looks great are you gonna get a 4x4 xj too and use the 2x4 for DD duty that would be sweet, keep up the good work and welcome aboard.
