98 Sport Very Very Slow Build

I just picked up a 98 Cherokee Sport for 900 it has a 2" lift on it and came with 5 brand new crager rims. Everything runs and works but I want to to build it to be a daily driver that has no problems crawling. Plan as of right now is to do a rustys 6.5 lift and 35's but since this is my first build i dont know what else I should do or were to start as the title states this will be a slow build as my budget is limited so any help about where I should start and advice about what stuff to use would be appreciated.

I like it, looks like a good platform to start with. If your DD ing it I would consider a LCG build, on 35s. I think a 4.5 long arm kit would be a better suspension setup. Trim the mess out of it and run 35s till the axles cry for mercy. Just my two cents. Oh ya you'll want to regear too. Maybe 4.88s to start.
I run 33s and will be regearing to 4.56s. Its primary use is kid hauling every day. Aprox 50 miles round trip or more depending on the day. The only thing I wish I had done right away is a long arm kit. They handle sooooo much nicer.

I do plan on regearing it but not until full size d44 or d60's are under it. i thought about the 4.5 but as i live in n nv i have alot of good places to go crawlin plus the rubicon trail is just up the road so i that is why i was thinkin the 6.5 rusty's longarm
