'98 Mild Chile Red Daily Driver
Hey all!
So I've been doing little things here and there when possible, nothing to get excited about(i'll repost 'em here), but I now have gotten all my pieces together.
I'll be going up 1.5" (spacers front, shackles rear) on 31x10.5 Muds wrapped around 15x8 Silver Soft 8s and going with rear TJ flares all around, to be bedliner along with below the belt area. also will be doing some maintenance too, hard brake lines/soft if needed, NEW stock leaf packs in back (have the sag bad) shocks, and new bits where needed, along with rust stopping.
how it came home:
as of 4-26-12:
trimmed bottom of front bumper, painted flat black below the belt, running 235/75 HT winters
how current rims started:
i used a drill and wire brush "bits" to clean these, took about 3hrs each to clean up, wipe down, and paint... ugh
oops:
funny story - park at store, run in for allergy meds, come out and a plant rack rolled off sidewalk and fell into jeep, WTF at 7:10am, story shortened, store paid $1400 for damages, i found a door for $100 and paint for $25, you do math of wallet bulge
what i'm going for, TJ flares:
more to come...

hey hey, Finally got off my *** and got the rear TJ flares on, few little things I need to do to get them where I'd like them... had a bit of an issue show up when I cut them for the door to open/close, going to make internal braces to keep shape.
here is the full side shot
a better look

another round of work done, got flares on the front, need to get them finalized as well, for now they are on and i'm running my 31s
front flare
cut and fold the front same as back
I cut the fenderlining vertical section down to about a 1/2" and pinched it into the fold-over on the fender.
full shot of flares on
went to work, put my "new" tires on and had to test them out a bit...
thinking of putting stock center caps on to "clean up" the look
Cragar Soft 8, in silver btw
