Looks to me like someone used galvanized steel to make that brace. If you use galvanized you have to grind all that coating off or that's what happens. Also if you don't and breath to much of those fumes in you can get zinc poisoning. Not fun. Just thought you should know Nice build by the way.

I am looking to in the near future. I am going with FrankZ long arms for the 30 and he makes a crossmember with a tc skid. I'll put on some rear quarter armor and sliders as well.

I've had bad thing after bad thing. Leaks, loose and stripped bolts on the short arms, more leaks, unbalanced tires.

All that on top of crappy gas mileage from stock gearing on 33s. that will change next weekend though!

Sweet sub man. How does it sound? Did you mention you are re-gearing soon? Who are you going to have set up the gears? I need to find a good place to get my rear axle bearings replaced.

More importantly though, if you are up for wheeling on sunday I would probably be down or even saturday afternoon once I finish some training. My buddy with the 2 door Tahoe mentioned he wanted to go wheeling this weekend. Let me know!

Thanks, havent wired it through yet there is a diconnection to my head unit so I'll have to rip the dash of. EFF. But it'll sound good when i get some new speakers and mount them on a pvc "rollbar" on the celing.

FrankZ gives a good deal for gears, my 30 is going to him tomorrow. Im a little slammed this weekend so I might say no on wheeling. Sorry man

Yea guess you cant go wheeling without a front axle. Thats sweet though dude you will definitely like it. I will have to talk to him about my rear axle.
