Installed some 2 inch AALs today and removed the rear sway bar. While i was back there i found some more rusty goodness  I also found why the back was sagging so much thanks to some broken leaf springs! Tomorrow im heading to the junkyard so i might grab some leaf spring packs to rebuild mine. Im also going to finish lifting the front tomorrow and install my rear shocks, if i have time tomorrow after all that i might start trimming up my fenders and throwing on some 31s :sorcerer:

So today i decided to tackle one of the many issues this jeep has . . When i bought it the PO had said the passenger side window motor was bad and he had taped it up to keep it from getting wet inside. Well i took it all apart today and here is what i found . . . .
Started by removing the door panel Attachment 304372 Attachment 304373 Once i could peer inside the problem became evident! although there was much more i had yet to find Attachment 304374 After unbolting the window, motor, and track i pulled everything out and found that the worm gear was completely pulled out, so from here i pushed the worm gear back through the tubing and reinstalled the housing back onto the motor Attachment 304375 Now i had read a few threads about the plastic teeth wearing off on the bracket that holds the window onto the track and this was indeed the problem causing the window not to work, its also why the worm gear had come completely out. So i removed the area of the plastic teeth and drilled out some holes and reattached the bracket to the worm gear via cotter pins Attachment 304376 Once i had the bracket reattached to the worm gear i reassembled everything and tested it out to find that i now had a fully functioning window!! :) |

Nice work with the window. I had to do that on my drivers side. Not my favorite job. The lift looks good.

Looking great, keep up the progress!

Looking good! I would suggest painting the flares black. Would give it a nice little offset. And get some front bumper caps!
