So, some Things are to do on the diesel. The rear-shock upper mount is broken, the Rubicon Express upper and lower controlarm bushings are broken, the engine and axle oil have to change. The diesel is in a way better condition from rust than my 4.0. So I will do some Fluid or Mike Sander Jobs to keep it in this stadium. Sadly, in Germany the government use tones of salt in winter. The most XJ in Germany are in a bad, bad way.

On my 4.0 I put in some new brake lines. The was a way to short for the long travel shocks.

I also finished my Herculiner-Job on the driver site. Next is the passenger.

And I need help from your guys. I changend my JKS track bar to a RE because the axle housing bent the JKS jonny joint. But now the gab between the diffcover and the RE trackbar looks very smal. I think it will bent the new track bar again. So, have you an Idee what to do?

At least, I put the swampers in 33x10.5 15 on it to get an idea how it will fitt.

What size lift you got on it? Seems odd that the track bar was hitting your differential which makes me wonder....how is it hooked up to your track bar drop bracket or is track bar still hooked up to factory? My thinking is you don't have enough lift to compensate the track bar and if your using a drop bracket its bringing track bar down to far. Post photos of the way track bar is hooked up and a front shot of this setup so we can see more.

Hi,

I run a 2,25" Old Men Emu Lift with extra 0,5" trimmer pack in the front to compensate the weight of the winch.

- RE trackbar
- Curie upper/lower control arms
- RE quick disconnects
- OME long travel shocks

Before the RE trackbar I had a JKS trackbar. There was onley a issue after put the OX locker diff cover on it. The cover bent the jonny joint housing from the JKS. So i bought the RE because of the smaller bushing. The RE hits now the diff cover in the middle of it when a big street bumps came.

Perfectly would be the JKS Trackbar with the head of the RE.

There are no issue while flexing:

So, please help me

Hi Jeepers,

yesterday I testet the XJ. It workes well with those 33" Tires und Sumosprings. I think I will stay with this setup.

Do you guys can give me some tipps what I ve to reinforce for 33"? Do I need a steering braket? Both Axle have lockers, D30 Front D35 rear. The rear axle have some "heavy duty axle shafts" with more spline.

Sumo Springs with new coils:

The rear overhang has limited my off-road capabilities

So, after I fixed the Radiator (thx @Matt for this new word) on my JK - my XJ gets jelouse and start leaking on his radiator. So I put the new one is. Sometimes I think my Jeeps are like Kids ...

While the change the "Jehovah's Witnesses" visit me. Well, I told them I will join them, If there God make that my XJ stop from getting rusty. Befor this, i thought that "get a visit from "Jehovah's Witnesses"" is a classic US thing

XJ Kühler after 21 Years of salty germany roads.

So, on my radiator-test drive the Visko explode. First I thought that one of my tire got blow off. But it was the VIsko-Clutch. Do you Guys remember? I put a new, upgraded VIsko-Fan in my Wrangler. I think my XJ saw this so he want a new one to.

Glad that the "Renegade Station", my local dealer istn far away. I picked up a new one for 50€.

After I went on the dyno, my mainfold seal went more and more bad. So I ve to replaced them.

So I put some heat-tape around the head. I think my XJ ve now 200 more HP than before . Okay, I just did it because I ve to wait for the mainfold-seal and I get bored.

And at least: I put on my new Ferrari F40 Rims with the new Km3. Cant tell mutch about the tire, because I cant drive mutch while fixing the xj. But you will get some more Infos and photos soon.

Stay tuned to so how to replaces some JK parts ... :grayno:
