I'm using postimage right now. Seems alot nicer. I meant to switch from photobucket awhile ago but whenever I posted I was just lazy.

Thanks man. I dont know why it crossed my mind to sell it before. I've thought about all the money I put into it I could of bought a used JK rubicon probably and started off that. But the cherokee love is real. I don't think I could part ways with it ever, seeing someone else have it/ruin it isn't my idea of fun. Day my day I'm making it stronger, and more reliable on and off the trail. My goal is to get it to the point where I wouldnt mind having to drive it every day again, even though I won't full time daily it. It should be that way soon.

Seeing Scottie update his build made me want to mine. Even though I have no idea what I've actually done this past 3 months.

So I went to the badlands again in September, didn't break anything but I dented my passenger doors in.

Then for whatever reason, I decided to put a 7" Mcgaughys Lift on my silverado, along with 20x10 Gear Alloys and 35" Mastercraft M/Ts and some steps. Along with exhaust, bed cover, and tints.

Went to the cliffs with the crew

Was a slop fest, got stuck for the first time in along time.

Went to pull bub out, he got stuck, hooked my winch up to pull him back and then I was stuck and he took his back window out with my stinger

Glass from his back window still on my hood after the ride home

Mounted single row light bar onto the fairlead. Fit perfect

Installed some new teraflex shackles, didn't take any pics. But I didnt tighten my wheels that great afterward and this ended up happening...

Noticed it outside of my buddies house, left it overnight and trailered it back home in the morning.

Luckily I had a full size spare so I changed the studs and called it a day. Just need to order a new $40 wheel.

Was messing around a little on a frontage road, went through some water and the belt popped off. No biggie back up in a few minutes

FINALLY I bought rear shocks. I've been missing one of them since I got the axles built because I couldnt clear the U-bolt Eliminators. Finally clearenced it, bought some bilsteins and threw them on.

And how it sits as of yesterday on my street. Don't ask why its half clean.

Coming up soon, I have a group 31 AGM battery I'm going to mount in the cargo area to help out with winch load, I'm going to relocate the gas tank into the cargo area. A backseat will be reinstalled again, I'm going to make a sketchy tire carrier to add to my home made rear bumper. I need to rewire my triple fan set up, and get my new muffler and cat installed. Baby steps right now as it's winter and I'm on 3rd shift now so I sleep most of my day light and its cold out.

Battery is sealed marine style and will be in a battery box. Need to get the tank in the rear sick of hitting it on stuff and with my unibody being messed up a skid isnt really possible.

I'm not sure where to start. I've neglected this build thread pretty good over the past 4-5 months. I've done alot but I almost never take pictures. Had a few wheeling trips, improved on alot of things, changed some stuff, and still in the process on others. Winterfest was great as always. Heres what I do have pictures of, and update pictures as of last weekend when I was off.

I replaced the trans mount, It was worn and giving me a bunch of issues

Installed a back seat back in the jeep for the weirdos who want to ride in it when I take it our around town. I plan on installing a front and rear harness bar and doing harnesses in all 4 spots

Bought Aresfab quarter panel armor with led tail lights to finally protect my quarters and match the front.

Before that went to the cliffs on new years. Bub with the v8 xj exploded his d30 and the centering pin went through the diff cover. Unseated a bead and over heated. Pulled him out almost flopping his cherokee

Winterfest came, ran hard trails, conqoured some obstacles I strugged with before. Had a great time.

Not to mention almost put the jeep on its side twice, and almost on its roof once. But luckily gravily pulled through on my end, Dont have any pictures of wheels coming off the ground almost end over end buts its recorded like a potato on my buddies phone.

Getting tired of clunks from junk ends, and needing my front axle forward I decided to make my long arms adjustable. No more fire wall contact. I'm going to be cutting my front fenders alot more now, and remodeling the inner fender. Did a 2" Stretch

Buddy tigged the ends on, first pass.

Gearbox had alot of play and was leaking bad, Decided to tap it for hydro assist and plug it up for now, Will be finishing this up in the next month or 2

Decided to get my own welder around this time. I'm not great with one but I'm learning more. I havent had a welder in almost 2 years and even then I never had sheilding gas for it, which I now do

needed more heat here

No pictures, but Fuel tank is relocated inside the cargo area and working great, no more hitting the plastic tank. Also put a sealed agm group 34 battery back there in a custom mount my buddy sam made me drinking one night, and installed a cut off switch.

Another buddy used to work making cages, so he had some left overs and scrap tubing. used some pieces to make a nice cowl bar and windshield bars to further stregthen the cage.

All done.

Picture after the stretch.

Right now I have the ruff stuff panhard OTA kit on the way, and me and my dad just went halfs on a plasma cutter. Alot of improvements coming this year. Trying to get the jeep dialed in as far as I can with these axles. I know I'm forgetting alot i've done but these are the pictures I had on hand. Also made a cowl intake snorkel I just remembered.

So I haven't updated this in over a year. But I figured it was time. Especially since I spent more than my jeeps worth in parts this week.

To start my iron rock long arm snapped. But IRO sent me a new one. I instantly sold the kit, upgraded to a 3 link. Ares fab of course.

Got the aresfab kit installed, also stretchted the front 1.5" and did an OTK track bar at some point and went with ARB/OME 3.5" leaf springs

Wheeled winterfest, blew up my 2nd set of nitro 4.56 gears and that was it. A week after winterfest I picked up a set of 2005 Super duty axles (Dana 60/Sterling 10,5)

I tore the axles down and junked the super duty pieces but then they sat for months because I was preoccupied with other things.

Rear was stripped, ended up picking up a 2nd rear missing brake pieces for a spare set of shafts, James welded up the u bolt eliminators for me. I por15'd the entire axle, rebuilt the hubs, and currently its at VallahaFab getting 5.38 dana svl gears.

Front had big stupid control arm castings that have to go along with cutting into the casting for pumpkin to expose tube on driver side. That took atleast 10-15h of cutting and grinding. I have the Artec swap kit truss and artec high steer arms for this

I ended up finally putting a grill back on my jeep with some knock off truck lights from amazon. Cleaned the front end up a TON

Saw someone on facebook parting out a buggy xj and I went and bought a few things from him saturday. I picked up a NWFAB exobox 231 planetary doubler along with a twin stick flipped dana 300 for a good price.

I also got a pair of new only mocked up 14" ORI's off the guy for very cheap

I ended up removing my center console and shortening it, along with doing an air bag module delete, patching e brake hole in floor, along with 231 shifter hole. I fabbed up a console for the 3 shifters as well. Front digs and double low is going to be super nice

I also ordered a ton of parts to get this build on the road. Right now I'm waiting on alot.

4 40x13.5r15 Mickey Thompson MTZ
4 8x170 17" Dirty life racing aluminum beadlocks
Dana 60 Spartan Locker
1550 U joint axle shafts
Dana 60 5.38 gears
Ball joints, master install kit
Dana 300 billet plate cover for stiffening
Dirtbound triple fan shroud
D60 Brake calipers

Plus I already have all this sitting
Sterling 5.38s and install kits (Welding rear)
Rear calipers
All 4 rotors
F250 brake lines
Ram 2500 Master cylinder
Surplus Center Hydraulic Ram
Artec front swap kit truss
Artec high steer brackets
Rough Stuff steering heims & track bar heims
Motobuilt F&R diff covers
1310 D60 Yoke
1350 Sterling companion flange
1310-1350 conversion joint
Big trans cooler

I'm probably forgetting some things. But I should have everything ordered at this point. Build starts end of this month.

Also doing 5" rear stretch another 1-2" in the front, ares fab rear bumper and tubed wheel wells. Along with seats and harnesses.

My wallet hurts a bit atm.
