https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/ple...nt-work-41866/ befor my window got busted i wuz having 4wd problems so i start tring to find out why...i start my changing the diff fluids front an rear...i start with front....an look wht i founan this fell out when takeing cover offthe other on is lodged in ....but the back diff is fine...so instead of just replaceing gears i will go to the junk yard an get a whole axle for like 250.....

 

please post lots of pics on the front axle swap. I have to do this soon (installed a rear axle with different gears, and I have a matching front axle). I'm just holding off cause I'm scared of all the steering components.

finaly got them hooked up....the light switch from auto zone wuz junk...so i used thesefronthere they are mocked up...heres back

 

i picked up the axles the other day.150 bucks for a danna 30 front an a dana 35 rear.....but when i got there it wuz a dana 44 the 30 is in the background cleaned an painted,front axle is installed an the 44 is going in next week ,windsheild will be fixed friday so hopefully it will be on the road soon

 

i like buying things from people that dont know anything about what they are selling.

swaped the front axle an swaped the rear to the d44.....tuesday the windshield will be fixed, one need a d35 100 bucks an its urs.....untill tuesday im workin on the doorles mod an the hombrew snorkel....all 4 doors are comin off

 

what happened to the windshield?
